My mom boiled it in some water with a little vinegar and spices

in it (don't ask which spices: I think just vinegar, pepper, salt).

Then we cooled it and sliced it thin, and dipped it in mustard

and ate it. Or put it on sandwiches. They serve it in tacos at

the taquerias, which I'm guessing is wonderful.

BTW you have to peel the skin off after boiling. Boy, I'm getting

hungry. It was SOOOO good.

Hint: Slice it before anyone sees it. Most people love the taste,

but the whole tongue looks a little weird ...
