Guest guest
Hi Breathers, This morning I did 45 LL breaths with a 2 ml. walk. This afternoon I did 30 more while wearing the neoprene belts. Tonight I did 30 more LL breaths with my ball. Love, Liz
Guest guest
Liz (or any others), When you do your LL breaths while you are doing other forms of exercise (walking, etc) do you find it MUCH harder to hold your breath after the pah? I tried to do my LL at Curves on the recovery pads between machines, and I could hardly hold my breath at all, because I'm already breathing so hard... Am I the only one? Guest guest
Hi Brennen! Nope...you're not the only one. : ) I've been trying to do what Liz does and put LL breaths with other forms of exercise (walking, Pilates, stability ball)...and at least for me, it's a lot harder to hold my breath after the " pah " when I do that. When I'm just sitting doing breaths, or even doing some of the regular LL moves, I can hold my breath for ages. Anyhoo...those are my two cents! : ) Will be curious to see what others have experienced with this. Great question! Hugs, : ) > > > Hi Breathers, > > > > This morning I did 45 LL breaths with a 2 ml. walk. > > This afternoon I did > > 30 more while wearing the neoprene belts. Guest guest
Liz, you rule! I love reading your workouts...it gives me such great ideas. : ) I'm going on vacation this Saturday for a week, and I will have the opportunity to take lots of long walks...so I'll be sure to do it with LL! Guest guest
Absolutely! Sometimes I'll start a LL breath while I'm walking and have to totally stop because of the breathlessness. That's normally when I'm well into the walk and I'm getting a little tired. When I do a Pilates or stability ball video I do about 20 LL breaths before and after the video because it's hard to do LL breaths and keep up with the tape. However if I do my own Pilates or ball workout I do each movement with a LL breath. Guest guest
Hey Liz! Sure...pack your bags and come along with us! ; ) My husband and I are actually going to Sun Valley, Idaho...it is one of my very favorite places. My mom lived there for 13 years until she passed away several years ago, but we still go up every year to visit my stepdad. Lots of mountains and rivers, and the weather (70s-low 80's) will be a welcome break from the 110 degree heat here in Arizona!! Needless to say, I'm not doing much walking outside here, so I think that's all I'll do for exercise when I get to Idaho... OH...and thanks for mentioning how you do the LL breaths with the Pilates videos. I had been trying to do the breaths along with the video (I have a Windsor pilates one) and it was really hard...what a great idea to just do the 20 before and 20 after! I'm sure it gets the same result, and I'm not missing half the exercises trying to keep up... ; ) I am going to get that " Pilates on the Ball " video you mentioned...it looks really fun, and now that I'm easing off the weights, I need something that will tone and slim the muscles in my legs, rather than making them look like tree trunks (which was where I was headed...yech). Oops...didn't mean to ramble! Thanks again for all your help and great posts..you are the best! Love, : ) > > Thanks ! I'm so glad that my posts are helping you! > > Have a wonderful vacation!!!!
