Well, they are pretty common here in the Willamette Valley part of Oregon.

: ) Not seen to much as they are " reclusive " - they like to hide but i know

that last winter i had one in my front room and when cornered they stop,

rear back and will try to defend itself. Sort of wicked looking. They

really just want to be left alone.
