Guest guest
>My boyfriend begged and pleaded for me to snip his off - in the end I >relented and smeared some antiseptic on some nail clippers and >snipped em off! Made me cringe, but they hardly bled and haven't >come back I went to the doctor to get mine taken off, and told him I was tempted to just snip them off with scissors. He just shrugged and said " wouldn't hurt anything! " . Most of them have no nerve signals anyway, and I get a lot worse wounds picking berries. I stopped getting them too, when I changed my diet. Actually a particulary nasty one SHRUNK and went away (in a place where I had thought it was a hemmorhoid!). -- Heidi
Guest guest
Hey, Jo! > Both my boyfriend and I hardly get skin tags now we're on a low carb > diet. I use to have a few, he used to have loads! Whatever the > reason, LC seemed to work. My guess is that it is candida related?? Those of us with high insulin probably have sugars fermenting in our gut, feeding the candida overgrowth. I was doing web research on them and some call them benign tumors. I saw an anti-candida product that mentioned helping get rid of and prevent skin tags. But no info as to why. I've been low carbing it now for about 2 wks and I'm feeling pretty good! But i don't seem to be losing weight and after reading that article on autoimmune disorders at http://www.gethealthyagain.com/autoimmune.html I think I know why. I'm not digesting much of anything, which is why I want the kefir and kombucha so bad. =) Also got my mom and sister interested and now they want cultures too. I hope my tags go away, but if they don't i guess i'll let my fiance cut em off like he wants too... bleck. First time I tried Atkins I got sick, prolly from the supermarket meats/eggs etc full of MSG, chemicals and unhealthy animal meat. Now i'm using grassfed beef, free range chickens, and pastured chicken eggs. I also only buy bacon/sausage with no MSG, nitrites and nitrates. I am super sensitive to chemicals... prolly due to my autoimmune disorder ie candida. Anyone else with an autoimmune disorder have skin tags??
