Guest guest
I read somewhere to avoid supplements that have magnesium stearate as it is toxic to the body, but the reason I do not know. Anyone have any knowledge on the subject? Theresa
Guest guest
Suze, I'll see if I can locate the source of the information that I posted on toxicity and mag stearate. Again, I don't believe it cited a reason, but I will see if I can find any info on that. It may be of no concern at all. Theresa

Anyone have any knowledge on the subject? ---->ron schmid writes about the downside of mag. stearate, but it has to do with the dissolution of the capsule and absorption...didn't see anything about toxicity. i'd love to find a digestive enzyme that *works* for my dogs and doesn't contain mag. stearate, which i generally try to avoid. but i open the capsules and pour it on their food, so dissolution of the capsule is not an issue. plus they work! so the mag. stearate isn't preventing the enzymes from doing their job. http://www.drrons.com/about_our_supplements.html Suze Fisher Lapdog Design, Inc.
