Moldy bacon. right. W/O refregeration I think everyone eventually ate bacon that had some mold! I'm sure that most attempted to cut , scrape the mold off because of the unplesant taste. Has anyone eaten moldy bread before ? I have , I just cut or pinched off the mold and accidently have eaten the mold as well<G> So Heidi , those yanks that took your grandparents bacon and hams were probably being generous when they left a ham. No i've never eaten raw bacon, however most of my life I always had it 1/2 cooked and people considered it raw, it was just the way I liked it with sunny eggs or 2 min soft boiled in a cup with butter, salt and pepper. I eat em raw all the time now thou, usually with kefir, its quick and easy and tastes good .
