Guest guest
I'm very interested in anyone's experience taking cortef -- dosage, how long you've taken, if you've been able to get off. I know that I'm hypoadrenal and have wanted to avoid cortef and pursue more natural treatments, but I haven't had much luck. I keep wondering if I should try cortef, but my wholistic doctor (not WAPF) absolutely won't give me cortef even at the low dose of 5mg. She says even at that level she has patients that can't get off of it. She's not convinced by Jefferies work (I don't know if she's read it; I just know she's completely against cortef.) I'm not sure I understand why thyroid medication is o.k. to be on long-term/lifetime (I'm on that), but cortef is not o.k. I don't want to create new problems for myself by taking cortef, but I'm bone-weary of ill health. I'd appreciate hearing anyone's experience. --- In , Irene Musiol <irene@q...> wrote: > Well that has certainly been the case with me. Guest guest
You might want to look at ISOCORT it's a natural version of cortef. Thyroid meds will not work if your adrenals are dysfunctional. -Vee
