ALS Renewal.

Good morning,

 

I have just been advised that my 4 year ALS certificate due to expire in July

2012 must be renewed now as my company has begun only recognising certs valid

for three years...(are there any only valid for 3 years)..yes I know.....but we

must remember the eternal golden rule whilst grinning and bearing it..., " whoever

has the gold makes the rule " !

 

Though in these times of financial crisis, when very many folk are struggling,

one could expect a responsible UK company to have some consideration and ease up

on the expenses by accepting that a 4 year UK cert is valid for 4 years instead

of making us fork out on the quite unnecessary expense every three

years....however that may be unreasonable on our part....

 

Anyway the thing I wanted to ask is does anyone know if the 1 day renwal course

can be done in UK and where or must it be the full 2 days that is required ?

 

I notice in the US that they have online ALS courses...are these real ?
