Guest guest
Hello Lou X,  The ENG1 is just another kind of offshore medical cert...maybe more universal and better for some of us mature chaps as it allows us to be checked every 2 years instead of every year...that is if we are still around come the 2nd year..(no refunds)!  Cost is 80 pounds and can be done in many places in about 4 1/2 minutes...where are you located as I may be able to tell you Dr to go to....  The Agency appears to be interested in your CV, so wants to check you meet their requirements..if you have the cash to spare pop out and get it done then answer yes...good luck..,,better still, first of all tell them it is on the way, then pop out and get it done...!  P. Guest guest
An ENG1 medical is the medical required as per MCA regs for working on ships, it doesn't matter if it is a DSV or a container ship. For personnel working on a UK registered ship you will need it. Â .
