Dear Andy;

A rather bold statement. So have you ever been employed for one of the

cloned multi national providers or is it possible your just brainwashed by

public relation departments er marketing er sales ? Your comments would be a

matter of pure opinion and conjecture if I dare be so bold, besides relying on 2

large operations world wide is a recipe for wage fixing.

In fact the larger operations frequently underbid and yes, in order to

corner the market, does this mean they are more cost effective or provide better

services " fmg " ABSOLUTELY NOT ! Sorry to disagree but your comments are an

absolute fallacy, besides referring to the many very reliable smaller operations

as " fly by night " just disrespectful, period.

ps Google stereotyped.

I can name 20 ops that are superior in every way to the " big " boys, but do

not spend the profits on PR claiming they are the biggest so therefore logically

they must be the best. ly that is fuzzy logic, but now a new idea for a

chapter 23 in my " new soon to be published book " ;>) bless you . btw I do

believe that Ian has more than just a passing familiarity with the

aforementioned superior providers, he's not exactly a nooB in this area ......

well, so I am told by " ole doc Gerber " .

That said I will make a very bold statement, that the success of any

operation is dependant on the quality of the front line staff not the corporate

credo.

3 cheers and long live the WAL MART Greeter position, that, I just applied for.

Speaking of " department of marketing er Sales "

One of the big guys lost out on a small contract to, Euh one of those smaller

operations

They had there " well trained " Medic (A French Nurse)

Destroy there medical protocols book prior to other Co. Medic's arrival ! ! ? ?

How Petty can that be ! ! ?

How pompous and arrogant (Dangerous combination in our field) can that be

To think that There protocols are so great that there are a Co. secret

And to think that some smaller outfit would want to steal " Protocols "

When there are a dime a dozen on the .net out there

Way better than the ones provided by this company

WIIRC did not want to HAVE Medical protocols a few years ago (Medical Liability

- Legal Anxts)

Got there A55 kicked by there clients and Paramedics that DID know better

To finally come up with some hald decent one

Of course

They copied some ideas from pre-existing Medical Protocols (oooo00hhhh ! ! !)

" The problem of being crooked is that you are condemned to think that every body

else is just as crooked as you "

The cherry on the story

Client happens to conduct a Medical Audit while both Providers are on site

Big Co. Medics asks for copy of the protocols for Audit

Astutious (and respected) Medical Director volunteers to send a hard copy

(With instruction Not to be shared by the ENNEMY ! ! !)

Which is a fair and elegant solution... and a medicaly respectfull solution

Big Co. Marketing guy in CC. over-rules it ! ! ! TABARNAK!!!!

and

AND

Medical personnel bows deeply to this assinine direction ! ! !

A case of

The tail is wagging the Dog

Dog does not notice ! ! !

Now big Co. is playing with local labor board and immigration to block

New providers

(Be warned if they want to coax that genie out of the bottle

.... for sure it will come to bite them right back here

And in the many of other countries that they operate !)

I do not mind big companies that have the equivalent competence, maturity and

gravitas

I fear the big ones, that still thing of themselves as backstreet fighters and

loose track of there primary mission.

PS : Irony

Of course I have a copy of the Big Box's Medical protocole

I could get many more copies of this list

That It would jam my Mail-box

Are they so oblivious !

Kind of sad

Ellicits more pity than anger, really

Just wondered if you need to declare any conflict of interest or

just didn't realise that your comments would be taken this way, you have

mentioned 2 big well know company's, and as you also mention there are some fly

by night ones, however there are lots of quality ones who are just as good as

the big boys, anyone who has worked extensively in the remote field will be able

to confirm this.

Also please be aware that these pages are looked at by lots of corporate types.

Try ISOS I have found them to be the best overall company when it comes to

remote medicine. Not only are they great at supplying professional medical

providers they also have a fantastic logistical team, not only for the clients

needs but also for the employees needs.

Yes I do admit they have the market mostly locked down. But that has to say

something about the company. I plan on staying with ISOS for the long haul.

I soon will be .. you bugger !

Here's the funny thing ... I have ketamine, its in my new improved protocols

wtf ?... and I will never use it because I have all my RSI drugs why would I

ever need it when I can shoot a tube on a flat as a pancake patient ?

Unless one likes a moving target .

Should I tell this moron when I was working for ISOS the blonde office girl

" in logistics " when asked about where my cardiac monitor was located ....

she stated the client only wanted to pay for a flashbox, yet had no problem

paying for the 3 antiarthymic drugs ... fat lot of good they would do when I

can't even see a fucking rhythm .. no screen on an AED you imbeciles .

And she ordering Maxi Pads instead of AED pads ... sheesh.

But best one was ... tee he he ... can't you by that at the 24 hour corner

store ?

You clown I said do you know where you sent me ...

This aint fucking Philadelphia there's no 24 hour anything and no corner

store either.

cheers
