I am asking this because I've heard from some people that once they put their dogs eat the BARF way, all sorts of health problems go away, including parasites and flees. ---->don't know, but this is different than your run of the mill flea. in fact, i think i've read of BARFers losing dogs to " salmon poisoning " . after all, those of us who feed a raw diet are probably the most likely to be feeding our dogs raw fish! also, it's not the *fluke* itself that is poisonous to dogs but another bacteria-like organism *in* the fluke called " neorickettsia helminthoeca " that is poisonous to dogs. there are a lot of raw-fed dogs that are unhealthy, so i wouldn't take the chance that any given dog is immune to rickettsia poisoning.
