sentimental moment

my first post to this list was on march 1, 2002. so i've been

chatting/debating/joking with some of you for the past 1.3 years or so about

nutrition and related issues. some folks who've been on the list at least

that long include paul, scott kroyer, bianca, aubin, radiant christopher,

jessica, janet, wanita, heidi, brandon, roman, dennis, becky, dr. marasco,

lierre, and so many other currently active members. i can't believe we've

" known " each other that long! lol. where does the time go?

i've also had the great pleasure of meeting a number of list members, some

of whom were in Maine last summer (erica and linnea), some at the conference

in May (chris, lisa, jill, laura, daphne, radiant christopher, ken, pam and

others), as well as lierre and wanita last weekend in Ma. i have never met

such an interesting, intelligent, irreverent;-), compassionate and wonderful

group of people than those on this forum and those involved in the WAPF!

so i just wanted to say thanks to you all for being there, for letting me

vent, for challenging my pre-conceptions, for not letting me get away with

sloppy thinking, for making me laugh a_lot, for sharing nourishing recipes,

for teaching me, for listening to me, for scolding me when i'm too dogmatic,

for trusting me with your personal stories of pain or regret, and for being

the proverbial port in a storm when i'm feeling like a total freak out there

in mainstream-land!

i deeply appreciate all of it :-)

<raising my virtual wine glass> here's to you all, and to many more good

years on this forum!! :-))))

and while i'm at it...here's to weston price...who's gift i shall forever be

grateful for...
