Some people do wash their eggs..I WOULDN'T!

Eggs are porous and the water could force bacteria into the shell as

well as remove the " natural bloom " (protective coating).

Advice from other egg farmers:

" DON'T WASH! Wipe with warm damp rag, no more. "

I think taking precautions with egg handling is smart since so many

of us are eating them raw.
