Guest guest
Hello, I just read an article on Halting Heart Disease....Here's a paragraph from the article and would like your thoughts on it. To avoid the bad LDLs and get more HDLs in your diet, you want to eliminate trans fats, one of the dietary " evils " that raise LDL levels in the blood stream from your diet. Trans fats are found in most margarines, vegetable shortenings, may baked goods, fried foods, and some meat and dairy products. Avoid these foods and read labels to see whether or not the products contain saturated fats or trans fatty acids. Does anyone know why or how dairy would have trans fats? Are these trans fats they refer to in dairy caused by pasturization? Thanks in advance -Vee
