AFAIK you're wrong on that count. I've never heard anyone say that

kombucha removes the caffeine, and I've read that it doesn't.

Oh, hmm. I'd read that it *does* somewhere, but don't remember where.

Sorry! I've never gotten any caffeine buzz from kombucha whatsoever, but I just

realize that I use roughly one tea bag per quart, which means there's relatively

little *tea* in the kombucha period.
