Guest guest Posted June 13, 2003 Report Share Posted June 13, 2003 Thanks again Roman for that weight lifting article. I tried the free weight squat Tuesday, and it is amazing! I've never done an exercise that felt so close to a full-body workout before. I did it with a wider stance today, as was recommended, and it was even better, and harder. Just with the 45 lb bar (trainer said use that to get good form for a week before putting on weight) I was straining to push myself up in the last couple times of my 4th and 5th set of 10. I *highly* recommend adding the free weight squat to anyone's routine. Soon I want to completely transition to free weights.
