Guest guest
Hi Guy they dont really translate although with yout NREMTP you can apply for state registor paramedic under forgien training a long long painful process the other certs are just frosting on the cake. you may find that if you want to do the HSE offshore medic course depending on the vendor you will be accepted on the course other than that it doesnt buy you much else cert wise. Guest guest
Hi Guy, It also depends on what you want to do, if you were going to work in the UK IE on land in London then you would have to go through the process of getting the UK cert. If you are looking to get offshore there are several comapnies that accept NREMTP, look at Rigzone for Medic jobs. Also go to Google UK for more listing of recruiting agencys that hire medics. At a minumum you will need a BOSIET course, easy to find in the UK and in the south in the US. Global Industries is alsmost always looking for medics, they are based in LA. Other options can include being a dive medic, meaning you take care of the divers and are not diving yourself. Frontier Medical is often looking for medics too.
