Short story: All time on the job site is considered working time. So

while you are on a rig, you are 'at work' (24 hrs/day), rest time and

other time off is not exempted. Apparently you Brits have some kind

of 'can't work you to death' protection that Americans don't have,

and would need to get more time off if the Jaeger principal is

applied--UKOOA says if the principal was applied to oilfield workers

they would need to work an 8 days on/20 days off schedule to comply

with applicable labo(u)r law.

Not in that area, but I looked it up when I first saw the term.

Anyone know which way they are leaning on this or when the decision

would come down? Are they looking at medics seperately? ANyone know

when the decision will be made?
