Guest guest
Hi Jainnie, I started with BodyFlex a loooooooooong time ago. I only did it for a couple of months because no matter where I went in the house I was waking up everyone in the house while I did it. I also scared my kids to death while doing it. Then I found Oxycise! I loved it then and I still love it!! I even teach people how to do it. I have always wanted to try LIfelift but just wasn't sure about it because it was so similar to BF. Boy am I glad that I did! I LOVE it!! I could listen to Rashelle all day long she is so sweet. I still do both Oxycise and LL and I enjoy the differences in them. It really is a matter of what works for you. I think LL is so appealing to people because it is so gentle. I still do mine kind of roughly. I think it is from so many years of breathing with so much gusto. It is hard for me to get it into my head that something so gentle DOES work. BUT it really does. I just know you are going to love it as much as I do.
Guest guest
Hi Jainnie, I did oxycise for a short while -- found it rather complicated and not easy-to-do -- I've heard that it is fairly rough breath-wise... LifeLift is none of the above. It is a very gentle breathing regime, something you can do anywhere, anytime. The video combines specific exercises with the breaths, and these too are very simple and portable. For example, I do a couple of LifeLift breaths whenever I need to " wake up " -- like when I'm in a boring meeting at work and I get the yawns.... No one knows that I do them, they are quite discreet! And every morning I do approximately 30 minutes of LifeLift exercising -- with my work clothes on, makeup and hair " done " (at least, as done as I normally do it!). I also do a couple of exercise/stretches sitting here at my desk, whenever I get up to go to the restroom I do a couple more LLs, and I incorporate them into my walking.... My husband and I are positively addicted to doing a couple when driving -- they wake us up from road hypnotism, keep us bright and alert. Benefits: I was unhappy with my breathing after surgery last spring -- couldn't breathe as deeply as I should -- this got me started on LifeLift. Since then, my breathing has improved a lot. I can now " run " up the 4 flights (51 steps) of stairs in the parking garage, leaving the young people I work with lagging behind (I'm 60 years old, and work with primarily 30 year olds). My endurance has really improved, my limberness is a LOT better (I can now touch my forehead to the floor when sitting with legs spread). My stomach is starting to stay " tucked in " -- I've recently lost 25.5 pounds, pretty close to my ideal weight -- I attribute this to LL (and other things, such as a low-carb WOE) -- and my body is toned....I can wear, comfortably, clothes that fit me at 10 pounds lighter -- this has got to be the LL toning. anyway, I for one am thoroughly addicted to the LifeLift regime. I've seen a lot of benefits, and I find it easy to do on a regular basis. Hope this helps, and best of luck! Bonnie Question about LifeLift vs. Oxycise Hi there, I'm new to the group, just found LifeLift online last night. I am one of those who has acquired all types of exercise videos and dvds over the years, including Callanetics, Pilates, Oxycise. What is the difference between Oxycise and LifeLift? I never did Oxycixe faithfully enough to see if it really works, but I felt like if I did, I would see results. I thought just the breathing alone almost started firming me up at one point, but I didn't stick with it. Thanks for your help! Debating about trying these dvds/videos. Jainnie What can changing the way you breathe do for you? Everything! See why tens of thousands agree, Life Lift is the best! http://www.oxygenzoo.com
