Hello Danah,

Welcome to LifeLift.

Bonnie is right. You will hold your breath for as long as it is comfortable. It

will change as you do it longer, but sometimes it will even change according the

position you are using with it or even how you are feeling that day. The

important thing about LifeLift is always to do what feels good and nurturing. It

is very important to remember that one of the things that makes LifeLift so much

effective than many other forms of exercise is that it is so nurturing and

relaxing. I have been in health and fitness for over 40 years and one thing I

have determined is the more relaxed you are the easier it is for your body to

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this group and I have a question about the lifelift

breathing. How long do you hold your breath while doing a stretch for

maximum fat burning? I have the basic tape only and it doesn't say how

long to hold the breath. I hold my breath for between 7-14 seconds

depending on the exercise, because that's all I can do. Is this enough

time or should I try to hold it longer or less? I need to lose about

60-70 pounds and I have severe arthritis and tendonitis in my joints

so I'm hoping this breathing exercise can help!
