I've had Life Lift even longer, but not done it regularly yet, because I have a long complicated history of eating disorders which have made it hard for me to disentangle exercising to feel better with the weight-loss obsession. However, I seem to have finally separated the two issues, largely because I've realised that I just don't feel good. I have a lot of back problems, my body is stiff and achy quite a lot, I have shin splints, I'm draggy and lethargic. These things are mostly associated with my being overweight, of course, because otherwise my health is fine. I've been going to the gym and doing yoga, and those are good things to do, but they take time. I'm ok with that, really. I'm finally at a point where I'm prepared to put in the Then I was looking at my LL videos and thinking, man, I wonder if that REALLY works, especially for increasing flexibility, energy and strength... (No disrespect or scepticism intended, Rashelle, I just haven't done it enough to know.) I just want to feel less like I'm disabled in some way because pain stops me from doing things. I'd really love to hear from people who *do* do it regularly, especially on these issues. So, for you, does Life Lift work? Has it helped with flexibility and pain? I can always tell when I have been " lazy " and not did mine. And that is so silly on my part because I can do them anywhere~anytime. LL makes my skin brighter and my eyes see better. And I find it very relaxing when I do it with Rashelle on the video. BUT as I said already if I don't have time to do a video I can sneak breaths in all day. Do you have the Reflexology tape? When I do that before bed. WOW~! I do relaxing meditative yoga and the Reflexology tape and I am out for the night like a baby~and my sleep is SO refreshing, I can really tell the difference in the AM. Just have fun with it! I have more flexibility and I do feel stronger. As for energy, to be honest I have never done it regularly enough to say that my energy level has gotten better or not. I really abused my body, with gaining weight, eating horribly and smoking for many years (quit 5 years ago though!) and so I realize that I cannot expect to get over the horrible way I treated my body. With consistent use of the Life Lift, when I do it for long periods of time I am amazed at the firmness I feel in my body. My skin is taughter which makes me feel better. As for flexibility, I do end up doing Pilates for my arms because I have really bad problems with not nbeing able to bring my arms up over my head. I also have a bad hip and the pilates helps. But! I always do my LL first, then my Pilates. Also I am training to walk a minimarathan they have here in May. I know for a fact that because of LL I have NO problem walking four miles a day. I've been doing it since May of last year (about 10+ months), and I can really, really feel the difference! I started with the basic video, then added the breaths to a few other exercises. I do them throughout the day (like whenever I go to the restroom here at work, or when I'm in a long boring meeting and have to stay away). I now have a habit of doing a 30-minute workout each and every morning, and the only time I skipped any of it was when I didn't feel good. Life Lift has done so much for me, so I'll only list a few: 1. I do a few breaths/tightening before I get out of bed in the morning. No longer do I drag through my shower and first cup of coffee -- this wakes me up and I bounce from the start! I did NOT use to be a morning-type person! 2. Whenever my husband and I are driving for any length of time, we do a few every so often -- keeps us alert, no road hypnotism, no tiredness. We had been getting heavy-lidded after an hour or so of driving -- I consider this a real safety measure! (We don't drive to the point of exhaustion, we always stop and rest in reasonable time periods --this was just that road-hypnotism thing). 3. I do 30 minutes every morning -- and this has contributed (actually it's the defining change that I made) to much more limberness, etc. I can now run up the parking garage's 4 (double) flights, leaving the young people behind. I can climb a steep hill and leave my 30-year-old walking companion panting behind me. Etc. And I'm 60 years old!!!!! 4. Life Lift, along with the Night Magic, has contributed to my weight loss (I also carefully low carb, etc.) -- I've lost a nice amount of weight recently (I'm currently at 137 pounds -- at 5''7 " -- which is a pretty good weight for me). 5. My initial reason for starting LL was, after a surgery, I found I had difficulty deep breathing -- and it scared me! No problem now, whatsoever! There are so many other good things to say about Life Lift -- but I need to sign off and get back to work.... I am convinced that if you add LL to your daily routine, you'll see a major, positive difference! Bonnie so...does it work?
