Guest guest
I am so glad you are losing Laurie :-) Big Hug! Connie Re: Lean for LIFE Importance: High YOU MUST get this book and follow it - I beleive it is pretty healthy - and I am LOSING FAST!!!!!!!! and FEEL GREAT - and am NOT HUNGRY!!!!! 3 ladies in my church have lost over 40 lbs in 3 months!!!!! FOLLOW it EXACTLY though - or you will NOT get the results - but IF you follow it EXACTLY, you will NOT be hungry, craving, grumpy...... I did NOT believe it until I finally started it. People have told me about it for months, but I knew how UN-healthy Atkins was, (I know several people that had kidney failure with it) This one gives you salads and fruits and veggies to eat BTW - for drinks besides water I am drinking Crystal Light - taste great with no carbs This combined with my LifeLift tape #1 in the mornings, and my 30 min walk on the treadmill with LifeLift breathing in the evenings - and I AM LOSING!!!! I am SO excited it is unreal - I gained over 40 lbs after I hit 35, and kept adding on slowly but surely - even though I eat pretty healthy normally! All Dr checks said my thyroid, hormones, etc were all in check - but after getting to 60 lbs over my biggest weight at 9 mo pregnant - I have been emotionally unstable - to say the least - plus I RUN a online health food store - I am supposed to be healthy!!!! (which I am, but fat is NOT healthy in itself) and I thought how can I tell others how to be healthy and thin when I am failing myself! I felt like SUCH a hypocrite! Guest guest
Can't remember who -- but someone in this group recommended the Lean for Life books/methods.... How are you doing with it? Pounds lost? How close to goal? How closely are you following the plan? Etc.? I got the books last week, have read through the first one -- some of it makes sense, some of it I do not agree with. Though the author does say that each of us is unique and has to find out what works for us. I for one could not possibly eat as much as she suggests, though maybe if I really work at the maintenance phase, I can increase my food and food choices.... I eat more fat than she suggests (coconut oil, butter, red meat) -- and I very much disagree with her notion that margarine is okay (trans fats!). The part that I'm particularly interested in is the maintenance -- believe me, I'm going to follow this closely (if I get to goal weight!).
