Guest guest
I did fine yesterday {Tuesday}. I never did get the omelet tho. I ended up having a double cheeseburger from BK with no bun and some fauxtato salad. Then last night {probably later than I should of, but I made 3 scrambled eggs with salsa. I wasn't so much hungry, just had the munchies. Then thru out the day had some peanuts. I did get in 2 miles on the treadmill and my breathing! So I was feeling pretty darn good about myself. Don't really know what today will bring, I'll be at the SS from 12/12:30 till 9:00 tonight. I'm planning on taking some all beef hot-dogs with me. We have a microwave in the office and I don't take cash, so there'll be no way to buy any thing. They supply all the pop and water. I just hope I don't get stuck taking tickets ALL day! With that long of hours, it should, I repeat, should, be a big walk day. A pooped tomorrow tho...LOL Love ya, Kiki

Guest guest
Well, yes there are cows and pigs there...LOL Ours in Denver will celebrate 100 years next year. A couple have been around a few years longer. There's more to it than that tho. It's held this time of year, cuz that's a farmer and ranchers down time, when they can take time off. They can see what's new in the areas of equipment, and show and sell livestock. There are vendors galore there, selling so many different things form housewares to jewelry, clothes, and so much more. There are rodeos, horse shows, dog shows. We have a Wild West show, like the one that Buffalo Bill Cody made so famous. Just all kinds of things. It's not for everyone, that's for sure. Altho you'd never know that on the weekends...LOL I do hospitality, which means I help people find where they want to go and answer questions and as I laugh and tell people, I walk around a look cute...LOL The only think I can compare it to is like a HUGE county fair without the game booths...yaknow tho, there's really no comparison...LOL Love ya, Kiki

Guest guest
Hi, Kiki! I'm from Fort Worth and we're having our Stock Show there, too. There's so much to see and do - - it was always a great thing to look forward to after the holidays when I was a little girl!
