Guest guest
I've been doing OK. Not great, but OK. Monday I had pepperoni chips and cottage cheese before the soup kitchen. Forgot to take anything with me, and did end up having 4 or 5 donut holes. It didn't worry me to much, since I'm on the go, go, go there. Had to double cheese burgers with no bun when I got home. Yesterday {Tuesday} I had a couple double cheese burgers, no bun, for brunch, then wasn't hungry till around 9 at night, had some pot roast. So far today, I've had a protein drink, which will last me for a while. Altho I'm feeling hungry, stuck inside with the snow falling down. That comfort thing, ya know. But, I won't screw up. I'm thinking cauliflower is sounding good actually. I do need to fit in my workout at some point. In between laundry, vacuuming, and various other cleaning. Guest guest
I'll start this today -- did my 40+ Life Lift breaths and exercises this morning (added a new one, a reverse situp - a yoga position that I read about, really feels good on the small of my back), and have done several more LLs at odd times -- watched my eating quite carefully yesterday, so far today nothing " extra " with food -- afraid that my stomach is getting ready to " bloat " so I'm doing LOTS of tummy rubs and pushing! Anyone have any other ideas/suggestions?? I'm taking my probiotics (had stopped taking them over Christmas, ran out and didn't get more) so hopefully they'll help..... I didn't gain any weight over the holidays, but neither did I lose any .... I seem to be stuck with these extra 25 pounds and I want them OFF!!!! Guest guest
Jenni, your dinner sounds just yummy! With all you've been put thru lately, you can't and shouldn't expect to be able to 'be perfect' in how you're eating. All you can do is your best. In fact that's all any of us can do in any situation...good or bad. You're so strong. I really admire that in you. All the rest of you too. I wish I was as strong as all y'all. You just keep on keepin' on. So far so good for me today. Probably should have had more to eat, but whatcha gonna do, when you aren't hungry, you aren't hungry. That is something I do really need to watch tho. Maybe I'll make some eggs after while. Love ya, Kiki
Guest guest
Good afternoon everyone! I was so happy to see this started today. We are finally doctor free for at least 4 days...yipppeeeeeeeeeeeee. Between the awful rains - icy rain on top of it - it has been miserable taking my poor clinic to clinic to clinic. I'm so glad I have a truck! I've really been terrible with my diet the past week. The white definitely has a hold on me. I will work on not eating any of it tomorrow, but it's been so hit and run. Although last night I did really well and had a scrumptious salad for dinner. Tonight we are having veal parmesan (sp) and I cannot resist it! I'll try to eat only one...butttttttttttttttttttttttt I just love it so much. I'll pay for it in the morning no doubt. I have done my pilates and several breaths throughout the day but I have not come close to hitting my 40 breaths, so will work on doing some more tonight as well. I may just go to the gym tonight and walk a couple of kazillion miles. I always feel better after I walk. love you guys! Jenni Proud Air Force Mom! May God guide and protect our troops! Guest guest
Jenni, I always thought that it was highly unfair to not see any weight reduction when you were running around like crazy with family! You'd think that chasing kids would keep you absolutely pencil thin -- but it sure didn't work that way for me! Keep on plugging away, anything you do will be beneficial -- and goodness knows, you've enough family stuff to keep you fully occupied. I think you're doing great, considering everything you're doing! So enjoy your veal parmesan, just hold back on the garlic bread and dessert!!!!
