Hi Everyone,

I haven't posted lately, been really busy here at work. but I have read

everyone's good news -- pounds lost, sizes smaller, son healing well after

surgery, etc., etc. I've cheered every last time for each of you.

A while back, I asked a prayer request for a variety of problems. One of the

situations has successfully concluded -- my oldest daughter now has the " job of

her dreams " -- she's an Associate Clerk for the county, which is the type of

position (with her Criminal Justice degree) that she really wanted. Your prayers

worked!

Now I have another prayer request -- I feel a bit bad about asking, my problems

aren't in the same league as, say, Jenni and her son, but -- if you could, I

would really, really be thankful. My prayer requests are for:

1. My son-in-law is going in for his 5th (or 6th?) back surgery 12/29. This

time he's having permanent electrodes put into his back, something about

deadening his constant pain (the other surgeries obviously didn't work).

2. My oldest son, who received a Ph.D. in Chemistry (in August) has still not

found a job. He is getting depressed (as I am too) -- please pray for the right

opportunity to open up for him. He's brilliant, hard-working, and highly

educated -- just not finding any job openings.

3. My baby is going to join the Air Force (if she passes her physical -- she's

been somewhat of a hypochondriac through her teen years, hopefully none of that

will haunt her -- she's waiting on her medical records before she takes the

physical). She passed the " practice " written test with flying colors, and she's

really eager to join -- and I think it would be a marvelous opportunity for her.

Please pray that she passes the physical and everything goes smoothly for

her.....
