Guest guest
Hi all See below report from a paper in the States Cheers Tom G ** A five city study undertaken by Seattle researchers has found automated CPR devices result in lower patient survival rates. That is the word from the Seattle Post Intelligencer (June 14) which said the finding is in stark contrast to a Richmond, Virginia scrutiny published yesterday in the Journal of the American Medical Association. The latter indicated devices like the AutoPulse may be an effective addition to standard CPR. University of Washington study lead investigator Al Hallstrom discounted the Richmond research. Hallstrom said it was unreliable because of its use of historical data
