Yearly Medics refresher ???

Does the remark about yearly refreshers mean that your company pays for them ?

and have nothing but Praise for the Course,the Structure & Organisation of the

course and the Instructors esp Alan, and Rod.

Everything was well organised and presented with plenty of time for discussion

and feedback.

There was also alot of support from the other Medics on the course who were

great with job tips,help,job contacts and advice.Great for a New Offshore Medic.

I felt I had just enough Trauma/GP Training on the course to equip me to go out

there and do my new job with confidence.Maybe that was because of my own

Prev.Nursing Training & Experience but i did feel the course highlighted to me

alot of things i had forgotten or had always relied on the Doctor to do.

All areas were covered on the course and there were plenty of training exercises

with Stretchers,confined spaces etc-that i had never encountered before(even

abusing poor Alan's Peugeot 205).

All in all i would recommend the course with Capita to everyone-its just a pity

we don't get to do refreshers every year as i think that would be of benefit to

us all(and a few Nights out in Montrose at the Karaoke bar-groan!!).
