Guest guest
For me, the deoderant system that works the best is to wash and put on a layer of white vinegar, followed by Tom's. Tom's doesn't work at all for me alone, but with the vinegar, it works well for about six hours. I put on a second coat : ) at about 5 hours and 45 minutes, and I'm good to go. I think the vinegar interfers with the bacterial growth. Kim and Glen Quinn <kimandglen.quinn@...> wrote: O.k - there was some recent discussion about deoderants... I think it was on this site. I just purchased one of those rock crystal deoderant sticks (wet it and apply to underarms). Contains "natural" mineral salts. Anything sinister I should know about these crystal sticks? I'm 5 months pregnant, and thought this would be a better alternative to my Dove aluminum deoderant. Kim Messenger with Voice. Make PC-to-Phone Calls to the US (and 30+ countries) for 2¢/min or less. Guest guest
Interesting. I'm wearing the crystal stuff right now and I'm sweat free - I'll see how long it lasts. Thanks all for the replies to my post. Kim

Guest guest
It’s funny the topics we encounter in this community. I use Tom’s too. I tried the unscented and couldn’t stand myself but the apricot Tom’s has been working well. I reapply in the afternoon as well. Haven’t tried the vinegar but I’m sure my husband would find some good jokes around my smell if I did, like when I was doing all my house cleaning with vinegar. - From: mb12 valtrex [mailto:mb12 valtrex ] On Behalf Of bnana Sent: Friday, July 28, 2006 1:40 PM mb12 valtrex Subject: Re: Deoderant For me, the deoderant system that works the best is to wash and put on a layer of white vinegar, followed by Tom's. Guest guest
A friend recently went through a nasty underarm rash, and through the process, discovered that simple white vinegar makes a great deodorant. I asked his wife if he goes around smelling like a pickle, but apparently he doesn't, and says the stuff works really well, applied under the arms with cotton balls. <>< www.gthomasfamily.blogspot.com www.little-red-hen.com

Guest guest
I use zinc oxide cream. Works great. Just a dab will do ya too. I am going to try crushing up the tablets next time and adding them to coconut oil so that I will not have the mineral oil in the cream to deal with.
