Guest guest
There are a couple. The Red Cross dressing has thrombin and fibrin in it, and there's another out there with chitosan. These two seem to be working fairly well. After that, there have been trials with gelatin, cellulose, and a few other substances that haven't panned out so well, yet. Guest guest
Tom, HemCon is the chitosan based dressing. It comes in a 4 " x4 " pad about a quarter inch thick. QuikClot also just came out with a dressing based on the zeolite material encased in a dressing, called the ACS. HTH! -bill >From: tom5255@... >Ok, I admit to having a CRS moment!
