I may have to check them out, to see what they say. I think it all boils down to finding what works for each of us, as an individual. No one program will work for everyone. Guest guest
Kiki, That's what I read over at the low-carb forum...that the second one was a very difficult read but it's worth it if you can get through it. I can't wait to get the book! with love, Jenni Proud Air Force Mom! May God guide and protect our troops! The first one is such and easy read, it really keeps your intrest. I admit, I am having some trouble getting thru the 2nd. I put it down a few months ago, and now I have to start all over...LOL I got it for the Bio-identical info, which I really want to get on as soon as I can. I'm not at the 'change' yet, but I know my hormoans have been so out of whack for YEARS!!!! Love ya, Kiki

Hi Connie, It's been years since I went to Nashville, Ind. We'll have to that again sometime. I haven't done any exercise yet today, but I will. I normally eat high fiber cereal or oatmeal and a piece of toast for breakfast. Love, Liz --- On Tue, 19 Oct 2004 09:25:07 -0500 " Miskinis, Connie S " <cmiskini@...> writes: Hi Liz! We went to Brown County, to the state park and Nashville, In. The colors are SO wonderful this time of the year! We stayed at the Holiday Holidome with the pool and hot tub and sauna and golf course and game rooms. It was so nice and peaceful, we haven't gotten away by ourselves for 3 years. :-) I walked this AM with my girlfriend and did my life lift. I watched what I ate yesterday and starting today I am going to count calories again and keep a journal, time to get SERIOUS again, my stretch 14 " s fit comfortably--NOT GOOD!!! I was going to give up bread and potatoes BUT I can't, for breakfast I had a boiled egg, 1- 35 calorie hearty grain bread and 1/2 yogurt. What do you usually have for breakfast? And anyone else?? " They " say it is the most VIP of the day!!! Hugs! Connie :-)

Guest guest
Thanks Melinda, I am going after work today and see if I can find that book! It kind of sounds like Gwen Shamblins book and I followed that for awhile and was losing, but......lost momentum Re: Hi Friends!! The Naturally Thin book is about how dieting in the first place drives our bodies to want to eat - - a lot of us have interpreted it as emotional eating, when actually, it may be that our bodies are trying to catch up and/or prepare for famine mode - the dieting phases, or going too long without eating when hungry. It's about recognizing true hunger signals. Antonello recommends eating real foods, less processed, less junk, etc. I can't do the book justice by summarizing it. You can get it for pennies at amazon.com. I'm now reading her other book, *Breaking Out of Food Jail.* The WW Core Plan reminds me very much of Antonello's good foods lists, and has you eat until you're satisfied - there are no portions, weighing, or measuring. I think it might give me some needed structure so that I begin to eat a bit healthier. Go to a website (I don't remember the address) called Dottie's Weight Loss Zone. Do a search and you'll find it. It details the WW plan. Melinda ) Re: Hi Friends!! Hi Connie, I'm so glad you had a great vacation with your hubby. Where did you go? Guest guest
, Yes I'm sure -- I'm 5'7 " and weigh about 155# -- and my winter clothes (which I just pulled out for this season) are snugger than they were last winter My husband and I plan to retire to FL in another 2 years -- and I'll be usually in shorts or bathing suits -- I really, really want to be slimmer by then! And so much of my weight is in my belly -- this is new for me, don't know what triggered it (I used to have a very small waist) -- sometimes I think I'm just sort of " slumping " with age, everything is drooping.... (asked my doctor about it, total non-interest, just " exercise more by pushing yourself away from the dinner table.... " -- really need to change doctors!). Bonnie Re: Hi Friends!! Bonnie That is depressing! You are so good and do so much Are you sure you are overweight for your body? R Re: Hi Friends!! Hi Connie, I'm so glad you had a great vacation with your hubby.
