Allantoin How do you dissolve it?

Been having a fun time with Allantoin trying to use it it a hand cream.

It seems to give everything a gritty texture even after dissolving it

in water for a couple of hours. I tried using hot water and it 100%

dissolves but hard crystals form on cooling. Has anyone had any luck?
