A+E Observing

Neil,

Being an observer only in A+E seems to have become the norm, rather than the

exception for offshore medics. Despite this, I believe it's still a good

learning opportunity for diagnostics, following around a Senior Registrar

for a few days, and it doesn't make you feel as old as working with the

SHOs. For real experience, it's down to A+E bank nursing . I've a

divermedic, ex-military medic friend who has managed to work something out

with ARI, and is now allowed to actively participate so there are options

open for those without a state registration but it comes down to the local

A+E department.

Regards,

Tom Watkinson
