Guest guest
Hello, I have worked with many people of all sizes who have lost both inches and weight. I have seen many people who only wanted to lose a few inches to reach their goals, succeed. Many women have written to say they only needed to lose a few inches to have the body they wanted. They were able to sculpt their bodies to achieve the results they were after. Everyone is different, so there is no way to predict how anyone will do. I have been doing this for what will soon be over 40 years and I have seen many, many people achieve the kind of results you are wanting without diets and using LifeLift as their only form of exercise. Part of the reason LifeLift works so well is because it is so easy. I have been in health and fitness for well over 30 years and my experience has shown that the more relaxed you are the easier it is for your body to release toxins, fat and stress. The nurturing quality of LifeLift is part of the reason it works so well. I imagine you will be hearing from others on the lists, but I wanted to welcome you to our lists myself. Take good care, Rashelle The Body You Have Always Wanted is Coming Soon! What can changing the way you breathe do for you? More than you can imagine! Hey i was just woundering... Lifelift seems way to easy and it seems that it works great only for overweight people. I am certainly not one of those that severely overweight. I only need to loose 1-2 dress sizes. More likely, all i need to loose is 2 inches off my stomach and 2 off my thighs. I have been doing this breathing technique for over a month and so far havent seen any inch loss. The workout arent even making my heart rate rise. So my question is, has anybody got down to a slim size 3 or lower doing only Lifelift? That means you eat whatever you want and only do the lifelift program. Guest guest
Hi Stardust and welcome. I'm very new to posting here, but have lurked for quite awhile. In reading your latest post, I wouldn't say you are wrong in wanting to be that 'size.' Before I got to the end of your post, my main question was, what is your bone structure. You answered that, and I think you're saying you have a small one. I don't however think I'd make a blanket statement that everyone your size {height} is better off being that small, and vise versa, on taller people being able to carry extra weight. We all carry it differently. It all boils down to bone structure and your particular genes of how you carry weight and where. Your honesty as far as being active, but also very much sedentary and a bit on the 'piggy' side eating not very good food choices, give me a clue as to why you may not being seeing the toning results. They kinda cancel out each other. And if you're thinking LL will counter act that life style, I'd have to say, probably not, at least to the degree you may be thinking. I will be the first to admit, I may be very wrong in that statement. This is just my thoughts and beliefs. I think it's great that you have a plan and want to do what you can to achieve it. Good luck and keep it up! Hope to hear more form you. BTW, I'm 5' 1 1/2 " but have med bone structure. A 5 is about the smallest I can be without looking really bad. Guest guest
Hi, I am not terribly overweight either -- when I started LL about 4 weeks ago, I wore a size 10-12 -- now I'm solidly in a 10 (shorts and pants, too!) -- at my height of 5'7 " , that's not too bad (though I would like to lose 15-20 pounds and/or reduce in size to an 8). I would imagine that if you want to get to a size 3, you are considerably shorter (one of my daughters wears a 2, and at 5', it looks good on her). I'm noticing a definite reduction in the belly region (wahoo!) and my thighs are looking better -- and this morning when I measured my hips I was down about 1/2 " ! I have no idea whether my heart rate goes up or not, but I do break a sweat when I'm doing the LL exercises -- particularly when I spread my legs and sort of lunge back and forth (to the sides) and tuck in my belly/rear at the same time -- in fact, I find this particular LL exercise very demanding (I'm sure there's a name for it, it's on the workout video....). Perhaps you need to customize your exercises, and push yourself a bit? Find what stresses you, then go a little further? Several of the people in this group mix Pilates with LL -- and I mix it in with walking, stairs, biking.... Another thing you may want to look at is the " eat anything you want " part of the equation -- if you're eating healthily, I suspect that's good enough -- but if your diet includes sugar, partially-hydrogenated fats, and refined flours, then you may need to rethink it. I don't know your age, but I think there comes a time when we lose the " young " metabolism and need to get serious about eating habits. Anyway, these are my " thoughts " -- maybe something will resonate.... Good luck, Bonnie anybody went down to atleast a size 3? Hey i was just woundering... Guest guest
Wow! Thanx for the support and answer! You can't seem to find that in other message boards! Thanx for the welcoming message Well so far I feel a little bit more toned but I can still feel the flab. I hope it will go away soon but I wouldn't know how long it'd take. I wouldn't care how long it took as long as I see results! thanx for the motivation! > Hello, > > I have worked with many people of all sizes who have lost both inches and weight. > I have seen many people who only wanted to lose a few inches to reach their goals, succeed. Guest guest
Yea I'm pretty short at 5 " and I have tried customizing the excercises but I still can't seem to loose those inches. I barely break a sweat either and It's probably because I'm used to many types of exercises. I'm probably the laziest kid you'll know since i'm one of those who pig out and sit around playing video games when I have free time. Although I do exercise quite alot, I also sit around alot. Yea, odd combination but it's true. I practice Martial Arts so I get alot of exercises doing somersaults, rolls, jumping over objects, etc. But like i said when I have the time I sit around and pig out on anything. I can't help to give up my white rice because I'm asian and White rice is like the main dish in every meal. I'm pretty young to be thinking of getting thin (I'm 15 years old). I hope you guys don't get the wrong message that I'm one of those lunatic teenagers trying to get as thin as possible. No that's not my idea even though my ideal weight and pant size seems pretty small. I'm actually a size 4 and It may seem small but it's kinda huge for a petite and short girl like me. My ideal weight is 95 pounds and yet again i know most of you would scream in horror and say " What?! " But i'm being serious, it's not a terribly thin weight it's more fit weight then bone thin. I'm currently at 108 pounds and it may seem like an ideal weight but I'm only 108 pounds because 1) I'm short at 4 feet eleven and three quarters (pretty much like 5 " ) 2) My arms and fingers are already what I'd call perfectly thin but my thighs, butt, and lower abs are a little bit flabby. Not much but still a little bit fat. Alright and lastly I'm hoping Lifelift will get me down to a size 0. Yes a size 0 seem so tiny huh? But I have a pretty small frame and alot of asian people have small body structures. I'm one of those people so a size 0 or size 1 seems reasonable. I'm trying to get into the acting media and obviously I have to be a certain weight. yes it kills me to know that my life long dream is to become an actress when the job is so demanding on how you look. So don't get me wrong, I'm not aiming for a bone thin structure, i'm just looking for a program that will help me get rid of only the flab. I think Lifelift can help me even though I noticed most people on the program have slower results if they start off at a small weight. > Hi, > > I am not terribly overweight either -- when I started LL about 4 weeks ago, I wore a size 10-12 -- now I'm solidly in a 10 (shorts and pants, too!) -- at my height of 5'7 " , that's not too bad (though I would like to lose 15-20 pounds and/or reduce in size to an 8).
