Guest guest
Great Job Karolyn Energize R I did it anyway... Good evening everyone-- I am so-o tired tonight...my dh works a rotating shift, on days for a week and then nights for a week, etc. I don't usually sleep too well when he's working nights, so last night it was midnight before I got into bed. DD had come down with a cold yesterday afternoon, so she woke up just as I was getting into bed. It took a while to get her fixed up just the way she wanted, and settled back down, so it was after 2 when I really went to bed. This morning DD was awake at 7:30, and I had had quite a bit less sleep than I am used to, but I felt pretty good. In fact, I felt pretty good all day. I did steal a nap when DD was down and before DH got up and I slept hard. But then I had to hurry and get him some breakfast/supper and lunch for overnight and didn't do my LL at my usual time. While I was eating supper tonight with DD I was thinking that I was too tired, and I had some other things to do anyway, so I would skip tonight. But then I started thinking about how good I felt dispite the lack of sleep and the very busy day and the sick 2-yr-old. (to say nothing of my contract with myself). I decided I couldn't afford to not do 40 LL breaths. Hurrah! I did my required 40 and immediatly felt almost energized! Enough energy to get me through the rest of the evening (including a nice hot bath) and into bed at a decent hour. I think LL actually carried me through what could have been a very stressful, exhausting day! That's encouraging! Keep breathing, Karolyn What can changing the way you breathe do for you? Everything! Guest guest
Hello Karolyn, Happy Valentines Day. You are an inspiration to all of us. I have been working from early morning every day and it never ceases to amaze me how doing my LifeLift breaths while I work not only keeps my energy up but it also helps keep my mind clear and focused. I even notice that my eyesight is better when I do more LifeLift breaths than usual. When I add more breaths as I am typing at my computer it seems to reduce the stress in my neck and shoulders a great deal. My whole body feels better. Let this be a lesson to all of us to do our LifeLift breaths for all of the wonderful benefits, not just for inch and weight loss.
