Guest guest
Before you buy them make sure you have good liability insurance I use to use glass because I thought it was prettier until I droped the glass jar in the tub with me and could barely get out of the tub with out cutting myself slippery hands Serrano I love to read all the great ideas and suggestions in this group of bath and body experts! I was wondering if anyone had a good sourse for 4oz. glass bath salt jars with top and scoop. I've been searching the internet and then I decided to ask the group! _._,___
Guest guest
I've had on my mind some kind of decorative container for bath salts where customers can just buy refills. I'd think it would be much safer to stay away from glass. I'd like to see something that might could pour and remove the need for a scoop. I think someone needs to design something nice, pretty and maybe plastic with very large holes like a salt shaker. It would need to hold at least 16oz, I'd say. It would be good if it had a narrow bottom that would sit on tubs where they might not have enough room, or less room than those with a jacuzzi. But www.packagea.com has a large selection of cosmetic containers. They only quote prices on the phone, but be careful of their shipping prices. ceece RE: Glass Salt Jars Before you buy them make sure you have good liability insurance I use to use glass because I thought it was prettier until I droped the glass jar in the tub with me and could barely get out of the tub with out cutting myself slippery hands Serrano I love to read all the great ideas and suggestions in this group of bath and body experts! Guest guest
Just a thought.......How about something along the lines of a parmesan cheese shaker--like the clear kind (with green lid) that Kraft parmesan cheese comes in. This container has a free-flowing side that opens and side with large " shaker " holes that also opens.... Guest guest
I've been reading this thread and thought that the parmesan cheese shaker would be a great idea. You can find them at Gordon Foods. I would go just to see what other things you may find useful. I know they have huge bowls for mixing lotions in. -- G, Classifieds for five counties in Michigan!! Lenawee, , Monroe, Washtenaw, and Hillsdale Jobs, buy, sell, and trade items. Guest guest
Try this link. They are glass tho. I bought the Apothecary bottles from Bayousome. They look like glass but are plastic. Which are lot safer in tub, I think. Good luck. Guest guest
I settled with the stand-up bags. I bought the 16oz silver back ones from WSP but it's difficult getting 16oz in them, so mine are going to be 12oz. They do stand up nicely and the labels look good on them. The fronts are clear. But yeah, the Bayousome website doesn't say that they are plastic, but that is best I'd think. I checked them out but thought the bottoms were a big wider or larger than I wanted for customers with a regular tub, and I wasnt' sure that they were plastic, so I just went with the bags. At least they do look like customers are getting more. Even the largest tube just has the appearance that they aren't getting that much. ceece Re: Glass Salt Jars Try this link. They are glass tho. Here's the description, " 10 oz Clear PET Apothecary bottle with cork and shrink seal. These are great for Bath Salts and Diffusers Contents and Decorations are not included " . Not sure why the link didn't work. Let's try again. April http://www.bayousome.com/petbottles.htm
