Preservative info on Parabens and Optiphen

Hello all,

Here are some websites that I found interesting on both preservatives.

This is a discription on Parabens..........

It seems Optiphen is less irritating then Parabens. I didn't find any dangers

Optiphen.

Another good website is ISP 's website. They manufacture many of these

preservatives.

, thx for posting those links, I'm sure others will appreciate

the info.! I've been getting my Optiphen ND (there are 3 varieties that

I know of: the original formulation, Optiphen Plus, and Optiphen ND)

from Lotioncrafter, and I feel much better knowing that my preservative

is not only paraben-free but also formaldehyde-donor free (many

preservative systems use olidinyl Urea or DMDM Hydantoin, both of

which are potential formaldehyde releasers).
