My experiece is that the scalp sensations are the last thing to dissapear, and yes, surely your car is infested as well, as with all of us. Four weeks isn' t really that long for the symptoms to go away if you are moving around in hotels. And keep in mind that hotel rooms have filthy carpets, full of mites, Red Roof allows pets, so be sure the carpets could even have fleas and now you are more attractive to fleas and mites. It's best not to walk barefoot in hotel rooms. I had to rip out the carpeting in my car and lots and lots of lysol treating etc for a while. So when you move, you cannot bring anything with you, no clothes, not even your shoes, Little by little I had to throw everything out. Even my purse was

a plastic zip bag. You need a good long time to gain your immune system back. For months after my last move, I scrubbed my scalp with medicated shampoo til finally I feel normal again. These mites are almost microscopic and can hide in all of your things, they are not easy to shake, but I can tell you for sure, the electronic devices don't work at all with bird mites. They are too small. It's a tough battle. From: deepolitte <no_reply > bird mites Sent: Friday, December 9, 2011 9:31 PM Subject: New to you

Hello everyone,

I've been reading your posts for awhile now. I got the bird mites from my chickens last summer and realized we had a real problem in the house in September. We've burnt our living room furniture and the master bedroom and livingroom carpet. We enclosed our mattresses in bedbug and mite protective covers. We sprayed and sprayed and then had an exterminator (inexperienced with mites) spray twice and left the house . We've been hotel hopping. A different room every night for 4weeks. I can't get them off myself. I've tried many of the things I've read about. I think they are living in my hair. I've cut it shorter but I'm afraid I'll have to cut it like a guy to treat my head properly.

I'm very depressed and afraid they will go after my autistic son again as I work to rid myself of them. They do not bother my husband, thank God. He is my angel and my right arm in fighting these. I really feel that the truck is infested and we've been spraying it with a borax mix. I can't remember right now. For 5 or 6 days. Before that we bug bombed it and sprayed it.

I think I'm about to have a mental breakdown. I was under a lot of stress due to being layed off for over 2 years and my husband is not working either. His family has been helping us stay out of the house. But its all coming to an end and I'm afraid I'll reifest the house and they will end up bitiing my son again. I can't bear the thought of him suffering and not understanding why.

One thing that I have found that dries up the sores and helps keep them from biting is covering my whole body with desitin diaper rash ointment. (40o/o zinc). And swimmers ear to kill them in my ears. But they just keep crawling in my hair .

I really don't want to go on like this. I can't get close to or my grand babies as the mites like them too and they itch and scratch. I feel like a leper.

Has any one ever used the Riddex plus pulse things that plug into the wall and make a pulsing in your electrical wiring? It's supposed to get rid of rodents and bugs. We've had them plugged in at our house since we left but don't know if they are working. Although we've noticed the squirrels don't come near the house anymore. My sister swears by them.

And has any one used a zapper? I was wondering if it would kill them in my hair?

Thanks for being there.

Did you mean the Riddex or the zapper wouldn't work or both? What kind of Lysol

did you use in your vehicle?

I've never heard of an electrical device helping, although I think one person said the zapper helped, but most likely helps by killing some of the coinfections that come with mites primarily. Mites seem to bring all kinds of infections now, including Lyme and coinfections, maybe even fungal diseases. Maybe they always did, not sure. Have you visited birdmites.org yet? Much valuable information that is general in nature on how to proceed with the outer environment. They describe many processes and protocols. Sounds like you have started with the burning of certain things. Good. Spraying with Windex helps, everything soaked until it dries on its own, or use ammonia (janitorial strength--Ace Hardware), 3 parts water to 1 part ammonia sprayed on ceilings, walls, floors (should be bare floors) and we removed all carpets, had only cement floors for a year. When dried, use DE on floors and wherever possible. No more raising chickens! It is too dangerous now. If you can do without pets, all the better. Keep the diets of everyone in the house as free from sugar and carbohydrates possible to deal with fungal issues. Most everyone is low on Vitamin D and Magnesium. Make sure your families Vit. D levels are high. Have your son and yourself tested for Lyme Disease (many autistic children do test positive for Lyme Disease and treat it if possible); if he is high functioning you can improve his diet by eliminating wheat and glutens. One of my close friends has a son who is 19 with autism and he is helped by being gluten free. Improves health of a loved one. I'e known him since birth. Take MSM if you don't already to start getting rid of mites who have gone internal and create an environment hostile to them. I did many bowel cleanses for months for the ones that go up the rear end. The cleanse I used was Happy Tummy; Google if interested in it. It is intense.Do internal treatments... taking MMS also helps, and if you can start taking baths with MMS or Borax soaks with Arm and Hammer (1 cup of each) for as long as you can tolerate. If you can get your son to bath and soak it is helpful too. Epson salts help too because epson salt and MMS both attack fungus. Epson salts on fungal feet works to get rid of fungus if done long enough, over months. Fungal toenails disappear with this approach. If the mites are crawling on the scalp, be sure to soak head under water as long as possible. I actually used a snorkel in the tub so I could breath under water. used straws, but I like a snorkel better. I got rid of the mites. Buy a steam press if possible for all clothing. This kills mites hiding in seams or if you can't afford it, at least start using a steam iron on everything. I washed with ammonia, Borax and Arm and Hammer and always still use Borax and A & H for wash, plus used a steam press. I sometimes used the oven on lowest setting for jeans. I rarely use ammonia now as I don't need it. There are as many protocols for getting rid of these as there are people who have had them. But one thing is absolutely necessary and almost everyone would agree that you must work on internals at the same time that you work on your environment. Many here found help in taking long term antibiotics and have been to doctors who would prescribe at that level. Most have been on Doxycycline and it has helped enormously, but you must be on it for 3-6 months and most docs will not prescribe that long. You can buy drugs from Canada if need be. Take it the sooner the better. These mites jump hosts for a reason and you are attractive most likely because of your tastiness, so you must get rid of fungus and bacterias to make yourselves less desirable. This is a complex process, so take it one day at a time. Make notes on what seem to be working. Where do you live? These mites are migrating all over the world and we have people here all over the US, Germany, UK including Scotland. I think it is as a result of global warming and birds are no longer safe to be close to, or nests or anything like that. Krys has been a great contributor here and he is a scientist who works with genetics and birdmites. His Mum lives in the UK and has birdmites. Please do not give up... it can be done, but it is going to take your best effort. I used the Don Croft Zapper, and it really helped me. I do not think we had

chicken mites, I think they are red. I really could not see these, they seemed

to bother me in my eyes, like something in a gelatin mass. I first started

taking a solution of apple cider vinegar/baking soda/borax (20 mule team)with

lots of water. Check out website

http://www.earthclinic.com/CURES/mite_infestation.html#BORAX. I have since

started using MMS. Occasionally I feel mites but they are not biting, I have a

cat and I think she is still plagued with them. I continue using MMS, zapper

and solution of hydrogen peroxide/borax and water on my brows and eyes. I use a

dehumidifier, and I think these mites were attracted to water or moist areas. I

have also used the zapper on my cat, but she will not comply long with me trying

to hold it on her. I use the Rife machine on my elderly parent while she

sleeps.

Sometimes I think this infestation was a blessing, after going through all of

this I have not felt this good in years. The mites were here long before they

affected me. I am still going through the cleaning(external) and cleansing

routines(internally). I have changed my diet and keep learning from the messages

posted.

Take care,

I got rid of the chickens the first of oct. and my cats and goats the first of

nov.

I was spraying with windex before we left and will resume when we return and use

some of the other protocols from here and birdmites.org. I've stopped eating

sugar and am taking a probiotic and parasitic clens and a multi. I have no

insurance for doctors .

I had on a gluten free dairy free diet for about 3 years but slacked off

when I became unemployed.

What is MMS?

We live in Missouri.

MMS is Miracle Mineral Solution - here's a website from Jim Humble the discoverer of MMS's many uses and on this site is a video which shows how to mix the MMS. MMS is very cheap. The one thing I must say is that it can cause nausea, but you can back off it by a few drops and start up again at a lower dose and continue from there. Has helped Marie get free from mites and other organisms. Because of your money situation this is one thing I would suggest, along with other protocols. You have to do what you can afford. Read extensively on the website and other MMS websites. Helps enormously with fungal problems too.http://jimhumble.biz/From: "deepolitte" <no_reply >bird mites Sent: Saturday, December 10, 2011 7:20:41 AMSubject: Re: Electronic devices do not work.>> I've never heard of an electrical device helping, although I think one person said the zapper helped, but most likely helps by killing some of the coinfections that come with mites primarily. It is intense. > > > Do internal treatments... taking MMS also helps, and if you can start taking baths with MMS or Borax soaks with Arm and Hammer (1 cup of each) for as long as you can tolerate.
