Guest guest
Hi Linds, Thanks for the message! It's been a very nice and busy holiday. Stayed at the in-laws which was nice and sleep was pretty much bite free. Hope you have been able to relax as well. I just got my Igenex WB results and I tested positive. So hopefully more relief is on the way! Just have to make sure any abx I take are safe for the baby. Next step...getting my 1 year old tested. Have you gotten your results? Guest guest
Hi Elissa,I am sorry to hear you tested positive for Lyme, but so happy that you got tested and at least now know. You really are taking care of business! Also getting your little one tested... if he tests positive I wonder how you could give him meds. Maybe Aandraya or your doctor know about that. It really is amazing how many of us that got mites test positive for Lyme Disease. From: "Elissa " <elissarachel@...>bird mites Sent: Tuesday, December 27, 2011 4:08:00 PMSubject: Re: For Elissa Hi Linds, Thanks for the message! Guest guest
Hi , It is a relief to know.... I'll be getting my son tested here, but we have an appointment for him with the great Dr. in March. He takes meds now for his reflux so he is used to it. Also, they make abx for babies in liquid form that taste good. Maybe he's okay since he was on abx for a while after birth since labor took a really long time after my water broke. Hope you had a relaxing holiday!!! Guest guest
Yes, a great relief, especially since you are expecting a second baby... so glad you will start treatment! We have had a great holiday and are in the process of painting the kitchen. My husband is off until January 2 so I'm taking advantage of the weeks off. It is a huge job. Blessings to you dear. From: "Elissa " <elissarachel@...>bird mites Sent: Tuesday, December 27, 2011 5:06:03 PMSubject: Re: For Elissa Hi , It is a relief to know.... Guest guest
I know of many kids being treated for Lyme, they respond very quickly to treatment and recover well. Amoxycilin is used for kids among a bunch of other meds. Dr. starts his kids on 4-5 antibiotics right away, they herx for a while, and the start to get better. Elissa- be sure to look into Babesia, they treat pregnant mothers with Mepron. If a newborn has babesia it can be very serious. Bartonella is now found to be passed in utero as well.AandrayaOn Dec 27, 2011, at 6:59 PM, Goldstein@... wrote: Hi Elissa,I am sorry to hear you tested positive for Lyme, but so happy that you got tested and at least now know. Guest guest
Sorry you have Lyme but at least you know now and can be treated. Hope all goes well with your son. I'm glad you had a nice holiday. I did not get my results back yet. I would think I should know something this week. I'll keep you posted.
