Guest guest
Our landlord fumigated for us. I still got bites afterwards....we left a few weeks before because infestation was bad so we didn't clear out clutter, etc...that might have made a difference. We moved anyway, but new tenants are not affected. Just found out I have lyme so maybe fumigation will help but if you have an underlying infection, they will still bite you unless you treat it. It cost him $6,500.00 total with bird removal. Guest guest
Both times I moved the new tenants were completely unaffected. This proves it was my internal infections and not the environment I lived in. Also, after I had been treating for about 10 months I did not have the lint cocoon/bugs anymore. I kept all my belongings and have had no problems with it after unpacking. It's been over a year now.AandrayaOn Dec 28, 2011, at 8:48 AM, Elissa wrote: Our landlord fumigated for us. Guest guest
It takes multiple antibiotics to treat Lyme and coinfections. You might start out with Doxy/Bactrim combo to see if you get results. Some symptoms worsen when you start treatment but then improve over time. It would be better if you were treated by a Lyme literate doctor. Have you joined the Eurolyme group? What are your symptoms besides itching?AandrayaOn Dec 28, 2011, at 11:37 AM, Kaz <kazk1@...> wrote: Hi AandrayaI believe I may have lyme, but a few weeks ago was almost pushed out of my doctor's surgery (you may remember) and he wouldn't entertain the idea that I have any infections at all - anyway, I am unable at present to afford private treatment and I am thinking of buying doxyciline online - I've looked at itracozanole but it is too expensive - do you think I will see an improvement with the itchiness if I just take doxy?Kaz x From: Aandraya Da Silva <aandraya@...> bird mites Sent: Wednesday, December 28, 2011 5:23 PM Subject: Re: Has anyone tried tenting and fumigating with a Pro? Guest guest
Kaz, I started the doxycycline in several ways and it is working wonders! I'm taking two 100mg. pills a day internally. I also disolve one pill in about a cup of water and apply to my scalp and body once in the morning and again at night. To reach my back, I use a tiny paint roller for cabinets as the long handle is great. Short pile so it doesn't sop up all the water. At first, I broke out in rashes every place on my body where the iching occurred. After each application, the area got smaller and smaller until it went away. One area formed an ulser but is almost gone now. My Lysol bathes every night help, and I've noticed more "junk" in them since I've started this. I've found tiny biofilm areas on my body I didn't even know I had. Apparently the doxy is killing the bacteria one layer at a time. I rub these areas until nothing will rub off. I apply the benzol peroxide gel on top during the day and that helps to remove the biofilm. I took 1/5 of a pill and disolve it in about 1/2 ounce of distilled water. I put in a sterilized dropper bottle and shake onto Q tips to coat my nose with and my ears in the morning. At night, I drop some into both ears and let soak for a few minutes. My right ear has given me the most trouble over these 2 years, so I wasn't surprised at what happened. I could hear crackly ripping and tearing in my ear for a few days. Then, I felt something in my ear. Took a Q tip and the entire inside of my ear came out in molted form. No pain. I Assume my ear must have had a lot of bacteria in it. The other ear never did that. Neither ear does that now although I am still putting the drops in nightly. I am deep cleaning now, but in about a day or two, I intend to sterilize my equipment and a gallon of water and drop one doxy in to clean the sinuses and ears. Should be interesting. I think the dilluted form should be safe. I'll report. I also nibble a little scraping of doxy and use my tongue to coat the inside of my mouth from time to time. The skin will split in some areas and then heal. Something is being attacked. I keep an ounce in the bathroom and cover my private area often. No more issues in that department though there was a reaction the 1st two weeks as the biofilm was leaving. Guest guest
I had all those symptoms too before I started the antibiotics. I don't know if it is the Lyme or some other coinfection, but the stabbing sensation in the eyes escalated for me 1-1/2 years ago and became excruciating. I believe that coinfection Bartonella was in the eyes. Or maybe it was Lyme spirochetes, but when I washed the eyes out, nothing came out. When I finally went to the eye MD they gave me eye antibiotics and that got rid of that temporarily, but finally the thing that has helped the most has been Doxy with that. From: "Kaz" <kazk1@...>bird mites Sent: Wednesday, December 28, 2011 11:13:21 AMSubject: Re: Has anyone tried tenting and fumigating with a Pro? Guest guest
If you have Lyme and don't treat it you will progressively get worse and it is VERY difficult to treat to begin with, more so as time goes on. At some point your health usually crashes and it's a long hard journey back. Best to treat it before it gets out of hand. All the symptoms you mention are common with Lyme.AandrayaOn Dec 28, 2011, at 1:13 PM, Kaz <kazk1@...> wrote: Aside from the itching, I seem to have brain fog, although not all the time - I have had frozen shoulder, bad tinnitus which drives me crazy sometimes, slight pin prick sensations in my fingers and toes, a stabbing feeling in my right eye, although haven't had that for a while - a general feeling of depression and tiredness, even though I have been taking anti depressants for a few years - I also get the granule type things on me, not as often as I used to.I have signed up to the eurolyme group, but as yet haven't sent a message, but I will do.ThanksKaz x From: Aandraya <aandraya@...> "bird mites " <bird mites > Sent: Wednesday, December 28, 2011 6:00 PM Subject: Re: Has anyone tried tenting and fumigating with a Pro? The combination Lysol bath and doxy on the skin has produced some very interesting specimens in my bath. I have hard core evidence to put before him. I may be getting my meds from him soon:) I am so tierd of treating myself and would love a professional working with me. He has been great for the Herpes 1 and the fungus, but until now, I could not prove the parasites other than offer a few beetles that came off me. Hi Thanks for your message - do you get the doxyciline from your doctor or buy online? Hi Aandraya I believe I may have lyme, but a few weeks ago was almost pushed out of my doctor's surgery (you may remember) and he wouldn't entertain the idea that I have any infections at all - anyway, I am unable at present to afford private treatment and I am thinking of buying doxyciline online - I've looked at itracozanole but it is too expensive - do you think I will see an improvement with the itchiness if I just take doxy? Both times I moved the new tenants were completely unaffected. This proves it was my internal infections and not the environment I lived in. Also, after I had been treating for about 10 months I did not have the lint cocoon/bugs anymore. I kept all my belongings and have had no problems with it after unpacking. It's been over a year now. It cost him $6,500.00 total with bird removal. You have always been so good at experimenting with yourself and getting results. Thank you for these good suggestions. I've had tickling in my left ear for weeks so will try your method in the ear. Guest guest
I've heard of it - very expensive and no guarantees. Luckily, I got divorced, moved out of the infested home and my ex stayed there. I felt much better after moving - and took everything that I really wanted out of that house. Ended up moving to two different apartments since then, due to the divorce, etc. Now I hardly know it happened. If you can, dump the house on someone else, and take your stuff. Put it in storage for a year if you have to do so. Hope you'll be okay - I am now. > > I saw on the birdmites.org website that they had links to exterminators who could tent and fumigate your home.
