Hi CecilliaI'm so sorry this has happened to your daughter, and for you as her mum.. has anything like this happened before, or is it the first time? One of the beauties of this group is that we are not selling anything or pushing any particular product. What works for one, doesn't always do the job for others... this is a great list and I know many of these things work! Thank you for all your time and effort in putting together this handy list .

You also got it right on the Itraconazole... the pharmacy wanted $1,000 for a one month supply. I said "no thank you." Aandraya suggested I try some other avenues to try to get it cheaper which I'll do.

Dear Cecilia,Wouldn't he be willing to go to some kind of counseling before he made such a decision?! Would he be willing to do something to try to save the relationship and improve things? You and your family have been through so much and stress does get to all of us. I am deeply saddened to hear about this and particularly his behavior. My 2nd husband became abusive towards my son when I was married to him. My daughter was from that relationship. I have no kids from my 3rd husband who has always been very kind.I don't know if there is anything we could do from here, but let us know what we can do to support you.Hugs, From: "Cecilia Borg" <ceciliaborg@...>bird mites Sent: Thursday, December 29, 2011 2:11:41 AMSubject: Re: Kajay / jdavid Protocol

Dear Cecilia,

so sorry to read about this and the stress you must be going through.

Was it the first incident with your husband and your daughter. Or were there signs and

symptoms before ?

Many hurtful things are sometimes said in the heat of the moment.

I think my boyfriend and I split up about 50 times verbally within our 7 years.

Surprisingly we are still living happily together :-)

Keep your chin up and try to speak to him.

Thinking of you and wishing you the best of luck !

Big hug,

Aggi

Freedom pharmacy has it for $180. for 15 pills. When they have a special, you can get discounts of 10, 20 or 30 percent. They don't offer the discount to you until you order from them initially.

Sorry to hear that Cecilia.

You're correct.  That is not acceptable for any adult towards a child (or any other adult for that matter).

Maybe he doesn't understand what is appropriate discipline.  did he come from an abusive family?

If he doesn't leave & it happens again (to any of you), I would definitely figure something out so you can get out of that situation.

Let me know if I can help in anyway.

Hi ,

I have just checked again, http://www.dokteronline.com/de/, but it seems they do operate within Europe

only, not overseas. What a shame !!

Egypt is a paradise for "drug-shoppers".. everything dead-cheap and prescription-free.

Saw an advertising on the outside of the pharmacy in huge letters: "CIALIS, VIAGRA, STEOROIDS"...

only in Egypt ;-) Should have taken a pic, but forgot.

I purchased Itraconazole 3 months supply and Doxycycline 3 months supply plus an antibiotic cream, all for round about 20 Euros, bearing in mind that an average salary in Egypt is approx. 100 Euros and that is per month, not per week !

I didn't dare getting more, otherwise the customs probably would have stopped me for drug-dealing, lol.

Holidays were simply wonderful, one of the best we've ever had ! Will report separately and send some pics again as soon as uploaded on my laptop.

How are things here. Have you had a nice holiday season ?

Hugs,

Aggi

Hi Cecilia,

The first thing that comes to mind is what food or junk food has he been eating?  I feel bad if I eat just 1 or 2 pieces of chocolate every day -- I swear to quit chocolate today.  Found out it contains a lot of copper and copper goes to your brain and makes you aggressive, confused, and just miserable.  The holidays and all the sweets are really stressful on your body I think.  My mother drinks coco every day and I think she needs to quit b/c she acts strange sometimes.  I also read that too much copper makes you feel detached.  Best wishes.

You also got it right on the Itraconazole... the pharmacy wanted $1,000 for a one month supply.  I said " no thank you. "  Aandraya suggested I try some other avenues to try to get it cheaper which I'll do.

Hi Aggi,Wow, that is amazing to be able to buy all those drugs for so little money without a prescription no less. !! I think you can get drugs cheaply in Mexico too, but have not been there in years also because the salaries are so low. I am happy you had a good time in Egypt and I knew you would. There are some new people to birdmites just recently. Everyone seems to have the same problems, especially initially. It is truly a mind boggling problem. My husband and I had a wonderful holiday celebration. We celebrate Christmas and Hanukkah, but only do gifting for Christmas. Hanukkah is just lighting the Menorah and sings and says the prayer. We used to make the whole meal to go along with it when Dad was alive and take it over to his house to enjoy. I didn't feel like making latkes this year. I followed your lead on the gifting and am starting a tradition to give mainly to grandchildren for Christmas. We want the Christmas to be about spirit, not about materialism. Did a lot of singing and playing instruments at the meditation center on Christmas day, followed by a wonderful meal at my brother's house. It was perfect and not over indulged.Hugs to you dear and all here. From: "Aggi Assmann" <aggi_assmann@...>bird mites Sent: Thursday, December 29, 2011 7:59:38 AMSubject: Re: Kajay / jdavid Protocol

Hugs,

Aggi

This is interesting . I noticed when I did Candex my anger really spikes and tearfulness. I think it is die off and of course chocolate has sugar in it, even cocoa. Food definitely has an effect on mood. From: " " <terelynjon@...>bird mites Sent: Thursday, December 29, 2011 9:19:58 AMSubject: Re: Kajay / jdavid Protocol

Hi Cecilia,My former husband (#2) was abusive emotionally towards my son after my daughter was born; before that it was all good. I always defended my son when he attacked him. It is a tricky situation in blended families and anyone who is in a blended family can attest to that. I used to work with psychotherapists who specialized in family dynamics and special therapy for blended families especially. So I was very aware of what abuse is on all levels. It takes real awareness and willingness to change those patterns. Finally in the end the marriage split which was a good thing, but I didn't think so at the time, full of fear, etc., since I was sick with Lyme Disease then and had not worked for a few years. I had to go back to work very sick, but I made it. My daughter stayed with me and my son went to live with his bio dad, husband #1. Husband #2 abandoned my daughter and he rarely saw her, even though he swore he would not do that, he did. I got my little daughter into individual psychotherapy for 2 years (from age 4-6). They do play therapy. Helped her immensely.Fortunately for me I met my husband (#3) who was a good example of what a father and human being should be. We didn't argue about parenting and he let me take the lead with my daughter . I didn't expect him to parent her. We differed in opinions about things to do with bad behavior, but some of my daughter's bad behavior was related to the abandonment by her dad. She got better as time went on. It gets so complicated Cecilia. So my husband is a step-parent and he never had his own biological kids. He considers my daughter his daughter because we got together when she was so young, he really helped raise her. Life does go on. If you do split, can you get support from 1) the government, 2) your parents, 3) his parents? WHat did you do?I feel really confused and I don´t think he is willing to get any help; he think he is right and that I am oversensitive. You and your family have been through so much and stress does get to all of us. I am deeply saddened to hear about this and particularly his behavior. My 2nd husband became abusive towards my son when I was married to him. My daughter was from that relationship. I have no kids from my 3rd husband who has always been very kind.I don't know if there is anything we could do from here, but let us know what we can do to support you.Hugs, From: "Cecilia Borg" <ceciliaborg@...>To:

What works for one, doesn't always do the job for others... this is a great list and I know many of these things work! Thank you for all your time and effort in putting together this handy list .

You also got it right on the Itraconazole... the pharmacy wanted $1,000 for a one month supply. I said "no thank you." Aandraya suggested I try some other avenues to try to get it cheaper which I'll do.

Hi CeciliaI agree with Kajay.. I know what it's like to backtrack because I was scared to listen to my inner voice - I have been in several relationships that were abusive - I know my children suffered and I have tried to make it up to them since - my ex, who I was with for 9 years shouted in my eldest daughter's face a couple of times, and she was only about 11 years old ( not that any age is acceptable to do that) - we had our fights, but when he did that to her I knew instinctively that I had to get out of that relationship..Kaz x From: Kajay109 <kajay109@...> "bird mites " <bird mites > Sent: Thursday, December 29, 2011 7:10 PM Subject: Re: Kajay / jdavid Protocol

Hi Cecilia,

Sounds like your husband has issues around respect. Did his mother "bully" him to do what she wanted out right or in manipulative ways? Maybe he doesn't feel "heard" and his frustration has boiled over on that note. I certainly am not asking you to go so deeply into your personal matters..........only trying to give you directions to ponder over. Think about what he asked your daughter to do. Was is reasonable or a control thing? Why did your daught not do it? Was it merely a time delay or is there a power struggle between the two? Again, I don't expect a response. This is your personal family stuff and you have a right to your privacy. I am just offering thought trains to consider in working this out. My thoughts and love are with you.

Freedom pharmacy has it for $180. for 15 pills. When they have a special, you can get discounts of 10, 20 or 30 percent. They don't offer the discount to you until you order from them initially.

It might be time to check out the government agencies to see what help is available. There is also the Salvation Army, family shelters in the case of physical abuse, food banks, subsidized housing (anyone remember that ad, "Everybody needs a Yugo sometimes?") You don't have to say you are doing it. It will be hard, but what is the cost of staying? You might decide to do that, only you can decide. Sounds like a LOT of us here are praying for you. And prayer can accomplish amazing things.kajay From: Cecilia Borg

Dear Cecilia,I am so sorry to hear your husband got so terribly cross. Nothing can justify using violence against a child, no excuse makes it okay.  Perhaps, when he's calmed down, you could get him to go with you to see a marriage guidance counsellor. Sounds like you could both do with discussing what isn't working; they can be very helpful .As said, you will know deep down, what is best & whether he is likely to do it again.

Things might seem bleak right now, but you don't know what tomorrow will bring.  So, chin up; remember, you are a beautiful person, you have two beautiful daughters & you deserve a good man.  You can make your future happen.

Yes, I started drinking bottled water b/c this house was probably built in the 50's and might have copper pipes.  I have been eating cashew butter for months now and that is high in copper too.  With the chocolate, it all caught up with me.

Sorry I missed this thread y'all. My mom's lung cancer caught up with her. She died a few hours ago. Will try to get caught up after all the fallout is over, lots to do with mom's records a nd of course as a morgue I have grown to dread working with paper but have to clean out 2,000 sq feet of memories and pure messiness, wish could afford to hire someone to make all those micro decisions. Hospice was wonderful though. She died at home on a hospital bed with her family there. Only one didn't get there in time.
