Hi Christene

I had a friend veryafflicted by fleas , which is similar, she used frontline

capstar, revolution , topspot , zodiac bombs every 14 days nothing worked for 1

year ... luckily she found a vet the told her the remedy 1 box of dry borax per

room spread everywhere on & under every thing like a snow storm & leave for 5

days & sweep up , repeat in 14 days . It worked , & she never had to repeat in

14 days . The cat is fine & healthy , no signs of trouble , it has been 3 years

.. Before that it was almost hairless & sores all over . Praise God ! Abby is

fine ... Yea ..I love Abby ,..... you see it my girlfriends cat ...

& Christene for feet I put on rubber boots with 5 cups of water & 1/4 cup of

borax after each shower for 30 mins & did my chores , it cures all problems with

my feet , it took me 60 days for what I had , which was terrible , bumps, itches

, fellings of worms boring into my soles , hive like bumps, sores ..... & it

never came back ...til 1.5 years later when I put on an old pair of shoes ( I am

so dumb , new shoes are $10.00 at the dollar store , so I spent weeks getting

cured becase I wanted to save some cheap shoes so dumb, ...so I threw them

out & used my soaking boots again for 2 week 30 mins after each shower withe

borax mix & it vanished . I now use baking 1/4 cup baking soda now in each shoe

each am to keep them bug free, it works perfect.

Can you get borax where you are ? I will mail you some if you want . Let me

know.

God bless you Christene,

Bill

ps antibiotic drops in the ear as prescribed cures the ears easily in 8-10 days

everytime for everyposter here on the forum that used them , there were many,

many people that used them in there ears & a few used antibiotic drops for the

eyes n the eyses , all were cured ,quick clinics wil prescribe them to you if

you have a redness in your ear & you say last time I had thei 4 years ago

antibiotic drops cured it , they will prescribe them to you , they cost $36.00 ,

& worked every time for me , it has been 2 years since I needed them . I use

peroxide & borax instantly if I feel a twinge in the ear , my ears were their

home for 3-4 years it was very painful .

Coconut oil 2 tbls & 48 oz of warm water help tremendously ...maybe it needs a

little help of antibiotic drops. ...than use the peroxide mix if the bug

crawls in again ..hereis mix from the poast I got it from , it is painless &

very effective:

http://www.earthclinic.com/Pets/dog_mange_cure.html

The mix:

2 tblspns borax (20 mule team Borax laundry booster

16 oz peroxide (3%)

32 oz water.

mix it , and the borax nuetralizes the peroxide, it is painless & the is no fizz

or bruning from this mix & it is cheap...

Christene the cat will be ok

Stomp that bug , bury the bug in borax , or baking soda daily or Arm & Hammer

Powdered Laundry Detergent if you can get it , ( but don't breathe the Arm &

Hammer Powdered Laundry Detergent ever , if you do ,you will not do it again ,

but you will live , it is horrible for 2 hrs , its like eating soap , but it

kills this bug fast . 1 /2 cup in each shoe & shake mist in 7 squirts of windex

& leave in over nite & it is over for the bug in that shoe , it is a miracle ,

if you can't get a & h soap use baking soda daily & windex. Bury the bug , soap

it in soap, smother it , it is a bug , kill it, it will die. The cat will be

fine Arm & Hammer Powdered Laundry Detergent 1 teasp per cup of water & bathe

the cat ev ery 4 days , it is painless & no side effects. It is soap & protease

enzyemes ( which is meat tenderizer ) & sodium carbonate , it never bothered

me.

If you can't get it improvise . Use 1 teasp meat tenderizer from the grocer & 2

tbls baking soda & som dawn dish soap or any kind .

Let me know if you need me to mail you some , it is no problem

pss

A lot of people have been helped by Borax, I gather many people have found it very effective, but you might want keep Karma away from the borax while you are dusting, especially as she is prone to bad reactions. Borax is not acutely toxic to mammals but, neither is it totally harmless; there are bad reactions & side effects.

It has also been classified, in EU, as toxic for reproduction & cannot be sold without warning labels. Ithas a LD50 of 2.66g/kg. (For those who don't know what an LD50 is, it means lethal dose 50% which is the amount of the substance it would take to kill 50% of a given test population).

I keep six honest serving-men

I am not suggesting mammals are not going to just drop dead in the presence of Borax, but given Karma's low tolerance of many substances & given that borax is a salt of boric acid.......

I agree borax has been very useful to very many people but, that said, it also important to know of the risks of anything. In tests, borax has been demonstrated to cause a number adverse reactions & boric acid has also been implicated in infertility & malformation of foetus.

Anecdotal evidence can be useful but it is not very scientific. Here are two anecdotal reports from two people using borax around cats with totally different results. http://www.peoplespharmacy.com/2011/06/30/will-borax-kill-cats-as-well-as-fleas/

There are lots of articles about cats, dogs, humans, with borax online. http://chemistry.about.com/od/howthingsworkfaqs/a/howboraxworks.htm

Dear ,I did get physically ill from the bites too and it was not just nerves from being bitten. Now I KNOW BEYOND A SHADOW OF A DOUBT that the mites gave me Bartonella. I just did not know it for a very long time. I already had Lyme Disease, but the symptoms I started having were totally different and layered upon the Lyme Disease. I tested positive for LD, but it was not until later that my doctor was able to sort out that I had Bartonella as well (maybe other coinfections too that I did not have prior to my bird mite exposure). Before I started treating for Bart I did have to go on antidepressants for a year because the Bart totally destroyed my sleep and peace.I'm so sorry you are going through this hell . It is hard to believe, isn't it, that this hell can even exist for only a select few of us. That landlord of yours should be ashamed of him/herself for not fixing the apartment properly when told what was going on. I'm so sorry Karma was so vulnerable too and I think partly because of her old age. I totally understand your decision to have her put down. It is the compassionate thing to do. We don't want those we love to suffer - she will be thanking you for it and understanding what you are going through. Since you already tried the Vit. C route, and since Karma has already had toxic exposures it is likely because of her age that she could not possibly get much better. That's the reality. Please don't feel that you have to go this alone. Lean on us as much as possible and we will be there to "chat."I'm hoping you don't have to move back into an area where there are drug addicts or unsafe people around you. Have you located a place yet? Gee, if I lived there, I'd sure help you move! And I'm not afraid of physical contact.Hugs, From: "christine french" <karmakatmeow@...>bird mites Sent: Saturday, December 17, 2011 7:23:21 AMSubject: Re: - for KarmaThanks krys n bill n lindaYes will get borax tho to wash clothes I get when moveIm so sad im losin everythin n the one weekBill I dont believe I cud suffer this mental n physical torture for years like u didV glad u ok now, linda too re mitesShame krys ur mum still afectedI just feel so ill that I have no quality of life with this:-(Poor karma is too old to fight itI moved here cos someone kicked my door in in middle of night where I used to livePeople drunks drug adicts lived around meMe n.karma nerves froughtWas awfulHere was peaceful until lives ruined by mitesHoe we have suferedNow my girl has to leave meFeel guilty my decision to come here resulted in such unhapiness when I thought we would have peaceIts awfulN realy If these bugs folow me may need amti depresantsBecoz I just dont know how folk copeNot bein forceed out here by scarey peopleBut by arachnidsUnbelievable :-(C n wee ill k:-(On Sat, Dec 17, 2011 05:01 GMT Doe wrote:>Hi Krys>> >Borax is not candy , but .........> The cat is at my house now ,3 years later happy as a lark , it lived thru the borax fine , it is healthy & has all its fur, the girl also lived thru the borax , she was never bothered by it & applied all the borax with no mask & she has asthma bad , it never bothered her in the least or bothered the cat in the least . Karma is too unhealthy to have Borax added to her system at this point. She is an old cat, 18 years old and had toxic exposures. She most likely has an advanced case of Bartonella and fungal toxicity. All cats lick their paws to clean up and the Borax would be the last thing she needs. Borax was very useful to me in baths with Arm and Hammer - but I don't put it in the mouth or swallow it. I use Borax mainly for wash, but sometimes I do not put it in the wash as I don't really need it to kill anything off like bugs. I feel Krys is correct in a sense by saying that anecdotal examples of when people were successful are only a few cases... we need to be cautious because sometimes these fixes can do us in. An example from me: I bought a zapper years ago because it was being purported as a good way to kill parasites... I did the zapper for 3 days and it destroyed my sleep. I still cannot go to sleep at night 15 years later without medications. The use of the zapper had done that and there was no warning about this or that it was a possibility. When I called the office of the doctor who was advocating use of the zapper (Dr. Hulda )--they gave me the run around and lots of excuses for why that happened. Since then I've heard of others having the same experience. Why? Most of us have heavy metals and it is too strong for many of us with heavy metals. I've now had long conversations with other makers of the zapper who tell the truth about what it CAN do. Not everyone experiences this, but some CAN. I wish I had used the zapper. A friend also used the zapper and had the same experience that I did. She is a medical professional and has written about her experience and my experience in the Townsend Letter. I heard about someone else recently on one of the Lyme websites that had this experience with use of the Rife machine.Sometimes we feel desperate and already know that we are taking a risk that could potentially be horrendous. I'm much more careful now. Even supplements that friends give raving reviews about I just listen... watch to see how they are doing with it, etc., before jumping on the bandwagon. What is good for goose, may not be good for the gander. My main issue in my house and concern now is mold. You can have mold in the house without seeing or smelling it. So soon I will get the kit to have mold measured in the house to see what it is we actually have. We had terrible mold build up because of our own stupidity when the mites came and not changing our air filter for 12 years. The mold was horrific when we finally came to the realization that we were being killed by mold in the house. We had the air system cleaned out with a vacuum pump, but likely that does not kill all the mold in the air system, plus there is probably mold on the walls we cannot see and also ceilings. We all have to be super careful about mold because this is what I believe attracts mites, springtails, etc., to us, plus our own inner environment of yeast and molds. My husband and I get very congested the minute we get into our bed. I suspect mold. ,I don't know where abouts you live in Scotland, but it sounds like a city. Have you considered perhaps moving to a rural area; if not right out in the country, a village perhaps? I've lived in many places around UK (including Scotland) & other countries. I know there are some lovely areas in Scotland (or even further afield).

In a village the pace of life is slower, more peaceful & people, even complete strangers, tend to be kinder. Cities are fun, but, personally, I shouldn't live in a city if they paid me. Might be worth a thought.Regards,Krys

I just ordered som more of the BP, I had a doctors appointment this am, and

Hi ....... ..I have tried many products on my skin over that last...well

going on 4 years now. The very best product that we have used is the Benzoyl

Peroxide. This gel has workedso very fast, clearedour skin within days and has

left me dumb founded. I have wished for so long now that I had known about this

gel when I first came in contact with this skin mess.. I'm afraid to report that

the Boric Acid and the BP doesn't seem to work as fast for people who are seeing

those little " flying " things around them and in their home. I have never seen

anything flying so as with everything, give it a try for a few months and if you

notice that the things are getting fewer and fewer in numbers than you might be

on the right track. Trial and error seems to be the norm with this and I hope

and pray that you will see eradication like we have. The BP will make your skin

worse off in the first few weeks. It's hard to get

through those weeks because of the flaking. We had to use Vaseline to go out in

public but just like the site says in the videos our skin stopped flaking after

a couple of weeks and looks totally clear and smooth. Every where I had the

" things " on my skin the flaking was extremely bad. Seemed the kill was instant

with the BP. I hope you see success with these new treatments. Keep in touch and

I will do the same. Wishing to loads and loads of luck. Rita

HERE IIS RITA 1ST POST ABOUT THE PRODUCT benzoyl peroxide REPASTED :

Re: Benzoyl Peroxide seems to kill mites on the skin

From: buggeredbymites

bird mites

Date: Fri May 01 19:59:32 2009

The rational makes sense: Open the pores, then blast the buggers out with a

deadly dessicant like BP. this is similar to the principal of sulfur combined

with oils which drive them out for air, where they then meet their demise via

the hands of an effective drying agent. I like the speedy, one-two punch

approach these topicals afford. No point in dragging this crap out any longer

than necessary.

Hi ChristeneHere is a vet wash for anals with mitesIt even has benzyol peroxide in it , that is the stuff Rita got cured with in days and never even had to com back to the forum http://www.ehow.com/way_5480656_bird-mites-treatment.htmlTalk with your veterinarian about specific recommended treatments, or consider these recommendations from other pet owners. Keep your bird's cage scrupulously clean. Add garlic and turmeric to your bird's food to make him a less attractive host. Bathe your bird using "sulph oxy dex" shampoo, a dog shampoo which contains benzoyl peroxide, sulfur and salicylic acid. After drying your bird, apply penicillin to any visible sores. Use products specifically indicated for bird mite treatment, such

as a miticide spray.God bless you Christene,BillOn Dec 17, 2011, at 10:23 AM, christine french <karmakatmeow@...> wrote:

,A close friend of ours just lost his dog a few days ago. It ran into the street when he let it out to go potty and it was hit by a car, was less than a year old and was a Welsh Terrier. He is in deep grieving for "Dale." We knew his little dog too as he brought it often to see us. I pray that you do not grieve long and know that there is life after death, and our little animals we love so much are with us always. That's my belief anyway.Love, From: " Keogh" <kazk1@...>bird mites Sent: Sunday, December 18, 2011 9:42:41 AMSubject: Re: - for Karma
