Guest guest
Yes and only when they see these comments will they take a look in the corporate mirror. I think any chance we have to highlight the positive and negative aspects of the way these firms work should be taken. I know I have been working for one! As we all know we are always at the bottom of the finacial food chain. The reality is there will always be someone who will accept a salary and conditions that others will not. For every negative comment about a company there will be someone else with a good experience. Each individual has to weigh up the pros and cons and make a decision as to what they think is acceptable. Sometimes it may be worthwile to accept a low salary to get the experience to put you in the market for the better paid jobs. It's a gamble most of us have had to take. On a general note I'd comment that without doubt representatives of the various companies providing medics keep an eye on comments made on this site. Guest guest
, Absolutely, Most of the large companies, Frontier included have representatives on the group. In some cases well respected reps, So as you say a word to the wise, Gents, think before you hit the keys. The company I work for has had some bad press now and then, but as said each to their own and I've always found them good but I know others that curse the very name.... Guest guest
Hi Ian In essence I agree with what you say, but by the same token the ethos of this group, as I understand it, is to support, inform and educate. In this context for some the most important element of this group and a powerful reason to join and remain subscribed will be employment prospects and related information and the shared wisdom of the group. It’s pretty important for the rest of us too. If the question arises, as in this case, about a particular employer - any employer, then within the bounds of honesty, accuracy and personal experience whilst noting the laws of liable, members should feel free and in deed their duty to make their experiences known to other members. Possibly I am feeling a little sensitive this morning, lack of beer or sadeeqy may be, but I get the feeling from your message the tone of a ‘gypsy’s warning’. To my mind, if the information is honest and accurate and should " representatives " from the mentioned company log on to the site and don’t like what they read - they too have the right of reply. At the same time, it could save members form signing up for a bad deal or wasting time and money attending a needless interview. Either way they can at least make an informed decision. Ok that’s my final say on the matter, I don’t usually communicate a lot on this site unless there is something that ‘twangs my wire’ and here’s the silver bullet...
