regarding dental nursing course

HiCan anyone help me suggesting the dental nurse course we can do so that we can work as dental assistant or nurse here.I have heard abt tempdent but rally dont know abt it andI know so many people have already asked the same question several times but still any of your help would be appreciated.regardskanika

Hi Kanika,

I am a dental nurse tutor, would like to give you some information on this course, which is for Diploma in DN.

Firstly, you have to find a job within 13 weeks of joining any of these courses, also you will be required to complete a record of experience book (called ROE in short,also has a deadline of submission).

Secondly, the examination fee has been increased & a new pattern of examination is introduced.

the exam is held twice in a year - may & nov

If you fail to get a job (Voluntary or paid within the deadline) you will not be allowed to sit the exam & will have to wait for the net sitting.

About where to take the course-- if you go on to the NEBDN website & look for list of centres doing this course, you will find the contact details of your nearest college.

I think net intake will start in february next year.
