Guest guest
smoking status should be checked/recorded every year. (so 12 months)1. The practice will record the smoking status of all patients over the age of 12.2. Patients who previously have reported they have never smoked should be opportunistically screenedevery 5 years.3. Smokers and ex-smokers should be asked about their smoking status annually.4. Smokers should be asked annually if they have considered quitting.5. Current smokers should be encouraged to stop and be offered support from a range of options.here is the link- http://www.spice.scot.nhs.uk/pdf/Smoking%20Cessation.pdf From: Balsam Majid <balsam_majid@...> Sent: Wednesday, 21 December 2011 5:41 PM Subject: Smoking status ORE question ..How often should u review smoking status 3 months 6 months 12 months Thanks guys Balsam Sent from my iPad
