Guest guest Posted January 13, 2005 Report Share Posted January 13, 2005 Dear Gents, I recently spoke to Fran Dey at Abermed and she told a worrying tale about new medics to the industry accepting day rate contracts at as little as £130 - £140 per day. If you are, or know ony of these medic, could you please inform them that this will be detrimental to all of us working in the industry and that in the end it will effect all. I would consider a day rate of no less than £180 per day acceptable for short term fill in work. If we do not maintain a reasonable day rate then we will become under valued and therefore also under paid. Best Regards Ian Denton Medic CSO Constructor.
