Hi if pt is ischaemic, angina pain starts on exertion, relieves after taking 10 min rest and GTN sublingually. If pain persists even after gtn ,3 times administration and 15 mins of rest, with or without nausia, vomitting, collopse restlessness , u r witnessing an MI. i know this sabreena yes sometimes mi pain is nt relieved by nitrates but i just want to know is there any tool or something to differentiate between both.well i was goggling and came to know that if chest pain is atypical in nature it is gerd.anyways thanks for your reply.
