Dear all, Can someone please help me out regarding dental foundation training.I am graduated from India in 2005 due to personal circumstances i was not able to give ORE exam immediately I gave my part1 ORE in september 2011 and waiting for part 2 dates.What is the ELIGIBILITY criteria to apply for dental foundation training because I completed my graduation( BDS) in 2005 .Is anyone of in the same situation please help me out I am unable to decide my future in UK once I finish my part 2 ORE i am i eligible to do DFT 1 formerly vocational training.Reply is much appreciated and of great help for me.ThanksKind regardsSiva

Hey..

yes to do Proper VT/Foundation prog you have to be newly graduate or qualified

within 3 years, however if you qualified from outside eu/eea you have to

something called VT by assessment, you can find information about it in most

denary websites.

Hi siva. There is restriction of 2 years to get DF after

graduation but its only for UK graduates.Overseas dentist don't have any such

limitation.So give ur part2 & then apply for DF.Goodluck
