Divi, First of all...you do have time. Stop panicking. Second of all, you can ask for an affidavit letter signed by any solicitor (will cost about £15 to £20). Third of all, you may go there personally and show the documents. There is high chance they accept it. Always ask them and visit them directly. Fatemeh

Hi,

Best thing is ask your friend who is a dentist to sort out it. OR you can download the form on the internet send it by post to the state council or talk to them on the phone coz they may need of an affidavit. GDC wont accept the out of date certificate

HiCertificate of good standing is given by the state dental council and its not the character certificate given in the collegeYou can get the certificate from the state dental council where you get the registration number after finishing BDSSpeak to GDC and ask if you can submit the good standing little later after the application formSome one can go the the dental council on your behalf and get it for youHope it helps From: Divi Divi

hi divi ,your character certificate can be written by any of ur col. proff. if u have contact with them . letter of good standing issued by ur state dental council just call and ask them whats the procedure to get that , usually u just need to send a letter asking them to issue one, for writing the exams in uk  and also ur registration certificate xerox . they will issue it in 15 days . hope this info. helps

hey divi,even i m from india n i faced the same problem of 3 month certifate expiry.nobody from here can issue u that or u have to go to some lawyers n make tham write that why u r not able to provide the certificate,wat r ur restrictions like n all that(given on the site)plus they charge heavily..so the easiest way  to get the certificate is to get it from the place in india from where u r already registered.i know it ll be tough but just tell sum frnd or sum relative of urs to go to ur registration office n apply 4 same.send ur scan copies of all certificates required n once ur frnd gets the good conduct certificate tell her to do special post(speed post or registered post) to u in uk (min charges 150 -175 Rs only)

if u want u can see on royal mail site abt the charges of post weight wise of parcel/letter,or charges if u want to keep a track of ur letter,or u wana sign the letter wen it reaches,u know everything.i m forgetting the site..just google n find out the site.i m sorry 4 that.

Dear Fatima,

had you tried the affidavit ....did you prepare it yourself before signing under

oath in front of a solicitor or does the solicitor do it all?
