Guest guest
i would look for some blood stimulating EO's to help break up that knot... maybe some mint and clove .. eucalyptus is pretty stimulating. HTHW
Guest guest
I know you want to really help your customer, but by your description it really sounds like she would best served by a medical professional. Her family doctor would or should know if it is a spider bite or if it really is an infection that should be treated. As a medical professional myself I am very holistic (hence the reason why I am part of this group) but there are times when EO's and herbs are not going to effectively do the job and might even make it worse. Tell her to seek medical attention if she has not done so already. > > i have a customer that got bit by something about 3 weeks ago. the area is still swollen. it has an area in it that is hard as a rock & about the size of my fist. i would love to make her something. yet we do not know what bit her. she said she did not feel a bite, yet there was a little red mark. i tend to feel it was a spider as i know the posionous ones can pack a punch. she is still suffering so. it hurts so much she can't sleep. it hurts even to walk. > > i was thinking of making something for detox w/some anti-inflammatory oils. yet, i would love to know if you have any suggestions. she is suffering so much. i would love to help her. > > please, don't be angry as i am posting this on a few groups. i just need help w/this & know this opens me up to more suggestions. i thank all of you for your help > charlene >
Guest guest
Charlene, It does sound like a spider bite. I would suggest you get some Calcium Bentonite clay. It is not inexpensive, but it does work wonders. Moisten the clay with water (I would suggest 1 part clay to two parts water) and apply a poultice over the affected area, especially the bite mark. Cover the clay with plastic so it stays moist for as long as possible. I would suggest doing this at bed time. I would also suggest a mixture of 1 to 3 ratio of clay and water and to ingest a teaspoon of this mixture once a day. The clay on the skin will draw the toxins from the body, as will eating it. Although it sounds odd, I will swear by Calcium Bentonite clay. Feel free to contact me off line if you have any questions. > > i have a customer that got bit by something about 3 weeks ago. the area is still swollen. it has an area in it that is hard as a rock & about the size of my fist. i would love to make her something. yet we do not know what bit her. she said she did not feel a bite, yet there was a little red mark. i tend to feel it was a spider as i know the posionous ones can pack a punch. she is still suffering so. it hurts so much she can't sleep. it hurts even to walk. > > i was thinking of making something for detox w/some anti-inflammatory oils. yet, i would love to know if you have any suggestions. she is suffering so much. i would love to help her. > > please, don't be angry as i am posting this on a few groups. i just need help w/this & know this opens me up to more suggestions. i thank all of you for your help > charlene >

I would tell that person to get to a doctor immediately. Spider bites are nothing to mess with, in my opinion and experience. A swollen, hard area the size of a person's fist is huge for a spider bite. Guest guest
I would tell her to get to the doctor or urgent care ASAP. Sounds to me like something that happened to me several years ago. I needed antibiotics. I didn’t feel the bite, the area got red and hard and quite large. The drugs cleared it up quite nicely. in Oregon who stays out of the weed patch now. need help i have a customer that got bit by something about 3 weeks ago. the area is still swollen. it has an area in it that is hard as a rock & about the size of my fist. i would love to make her something. yet we do not know what bit her. she said she did not feel a bite, yet there was a little red mark. i tend to feel it was a spider as i know the posionous ones can pack a punch. she is still suffering so. it hurts so much she can't sleep. it hurts even to walk. i was thinking of making something for detox w/some anti-inflammatory oils. yet, i would love to know if you have any suggestions. she is suffering so much. i would love to help her. please, don't be angry as i am posting this on a few groups. i just need help w/this & know this opens me up to more suggestions. i thank all of you for your help charlene
