My dear we are all confused.com. There is an mcq book by kathleen fan. In which I found this question and the correct answer was 24 and normal weight. But using the formular BMI=weight in kg/height m squared. We got 26.666 so logically we must round up to 27 which places the person overweight!Sent from my BlackBerry wireless device from MTNFrom: Anu Arora <dr.anuarora@...>Sender: Date: Tue, 13 Dec 2011 05:08:05 +0530< >Reply Subject: Re: Query ! but why then we have rounded it off on the lesser side to get the answer as 24 and not 28..plz i didnt understood this....wat exactly the answer shd be...24 or 28???plz helpAnuOn Tue, Dec 13, 2011 at 3:23 AM, Divi Divi <divi_ore@...> wrote: Imperial BMI FormulaThe imperial bmi formula accepts weight measurements in pounds & height measurements in either inches or feet.1 foot = 12 inchesinches² = inches * inchesTable: Imperial BMI FormulaBMI =( lbs/inches² )(weight in pounds * 703 )————————————height in inches²Metric Imperial BMI FormulaThe metric bmi formula accepts weight measurements in kilograms & height measurements in either cm's or meters.1 meter = 100cmsmeters² = meters * metersTable: Metric BMI FormulaBMI =( kg/m² )weight in kilograms————————————height in meters²so its       60/ (1.5 *1.5) , 60/2.25 = 26.6666666 From: ARTHUR TADEVOSYAN <arthur_tadevosyan@...> " " < > Sent: Monday, 12 December 2011 7:37 PM Subject: Re: Query !    From: " huraira2002@...
